Roger Stone Rips into ‘Yale Harvard Fat Boy’ Ron DeSantis Amid Reports of Tensions With Trump

Former Trump campaign advisor Roger Stone tore into Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) on Monday after an Axios report detailed former President Donald Trump’s frustrations with the governor.

Axios reported Sunday night that Trump is “irked by DeSantis’ popularity and refusal to rule out running against him” in 2024. The report cited sources close to Trump, saying the former president has been “trashing Ron DeSantis in private as an ingrate with a ‘dull personality.’”

Stone took the criticism a step further, writing on social media, “Trump sometimes President Donald Trump hits it right on the nose. Ron DeSantis Yale Harvard fat boy can’t get out of his own way. Not smart. Not honest and not going to be president.”

Stone, known for his conspiratorial rhetoric, added that DeSantis was “An unknown congressman with a bad haircut and an ill-fitting suit until Donald Trump made him governor.”

I’ve never been a fan Roger. I felt bad for what happened to you and your wife. After this though, I couldn’t care less what happens to you.

If and when Trump “attacks” DeSantis it won’t be through someone. Trump is very direct, he’ll have 100k people in an auditorium and he’ll say, Ron doesn’t have it. Trump isn’t the same as everyone else. He’s not afraid of DeSantis and he doesn’t hide behind surrogates. The fact that you haven’t heard Trump attack DeSantis means he hasn’t attacked DeSantis. Relax. Same worry monsters when the forum didn’t want him to attack Cruz. Btw, if DeSantis can’t take a light hearted attack is he going to stand up to the media calling him a racist rapist 24/7?

This is not helpful at all, at least not for Trump and the republican party in general.
All this does is elevate deSantis’ stature of importance.

“Trump & DeSantis cannot run on the same ticket

Both are from the same state.”

While that has been long standing practice for vote strategy reasons there is no rule or law that stops 2 people from the same state for running for President and Vice President on the same ticket.

The quote was from Stone’s verified account. Looks real enough to me.

DeSantis was a Naval officer

That can be an antidote to the Ivy League education. OTH he was JAG corps and not a line officer. Still, he did serve and didn't get bounced out for blow and floozies.

Trump better not secretly fight against DeSantis.
The people who like DeSantis are Trump supporters. DeSantis is effective.

I can’t support Trump if he makes noise like this.

My view completely. I don’t yet understand Trump’s absolutely un-scientific view of the COVID problem. That points to a level of ignorance I cannot ignore in a person with the power of a president.

roger stone can get bent.

President Trump, I like.

stone, I dislike. I’m a Republican. I have a memory. I remember this pseudo-conservative pervert from decades ago, and regret that he ever weaseled his way into Trump’s circle.

stone and its first wife were the forces behind Republicans for Choice, a pro-abortion outfit. It is widely known that stone is a swinger who enjoys group sex with his wife and other men and likes to watch his wife get porked.

I’m sympathetic toward this pitiful pervert when the FBI breaks down the door at dawn to arrest the feeble, aging, disabled old sybarite, but I would prefer that he be a thousand miles away from our Republican leaders.

stone is the last person I’d ask about for views on Republican politicians.

The action against Roger Stone was clearly overkill when Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Anthony Fauci, John Brennan, and numerous others went unpunished or even indicted for their lies. The attack on his home in the early morning hours with several dozen FBI agents who brought CNN in tow was worthy of a second rate Communist state like East Germany or Romania. Stone was assigned to a corrupt DC judge. The actions by the Deep State bankrupted him even though Trump commuted his sentence.

Having failed to destroy DeSantis thru direct attacks, the MSM now has decided on a mutual assured destruction strategy egging on attacks, real or imagined, between DeSantis and Trump.

Trump has houses in NY too, so I don’t think that’s a problem.

It appears after this outburst that Stone is likely the “close associate of Trump” that is the supposed source for all these recent articles about the Trump DeSantis feud. The question is how far is it from the truth.

The oldest media reports of the growing disaffection I’ve seen go back to DeSantis not attending a Trump rally in Florida in 2020. I don’t recall what his excuse was, but I can’t think of many that would be good enough. Trump is possibly feeling the same angst a supervisor can feel, when a subordinate they trained and help rise through the ranks, starts speaking out of turn in higher level meetings, even if they may be offering a fresh or alternative point of view.

But these guys are on the same team, and need to start acting like it. If not, worst case, we could lose the Florida governorship, and then the presidency. Wonder how proud either of them would feel then.

Fine. But the guy was a publicity hound who had no damn good reason to go and “testify” to a bunch of crooked @ssholes in Congress in the first place.

Ditto. I think DeSantis has a better chance of winning. The MSM has ramped up criticism of him, but it’s not full-out TDS..

Fat boy or Frat boy?

I never had the impression that DeSantis is fat.

Trump is fat.

Why would he call DeSantis fat?

I should have added this part on to the end of my first sentence:

It appears after this outburst that Stone is likely the “close associate of Trump” that is the supposed source for all these recent articles about the Trump DeSantis feud. The question is how far is it from the truth. I'm not sure how close they even are, for starters.

Consider the sources: Mediaite and Axios- both left-wing broadsheets.

Trump and DeSantis may be opponents in the 2024 campaign, but I'm going to be more patient about whether to criticize Trump or DeSantis.

In my opinion he’s putting his feelers out to see where everybody stands and where our goats are tied.

He loves to poke a hornets nest and see where everybody lands.
