Roger Stone Rips into ‘Yale Harvard Fat Boy’ Ron DeSantis Amid Reports of Tensions With Trump

Former Trump campaign advisor Roger Stone tore into Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) on Monday after an Axios report detailed former President Donald Trump’s frustrations with the governor.

Axios reported Sunday night that Trump is “irked by DeSantis’ popularity and refusal to rule out running against him” in 2024. The report cited sources close to Trump, saying the former president has been “trashing Ron DeSantis in private as an ingrate with a ‘dull personality.’”

Stone took the criticism a step further, writing on social media, “Trump sometimes President Donald Trump hits it right on the nose. Ron DeSantis Yale Harvard fat boy can’t get out of his own way. Not smart. Not honest and not going to be president.”

Stone, known for his conspiratorial rhetoric, added that DeSantis was “An unknown congressman with a bad haircut and an ill-fitting suit until Donald Trump made him governor.”

I'll vote for DeSantis if he's the nominee, but I'll have no enthusiasm for him. He is an establishment Republican through and through.

The last thing this country needs in the White House is an Ivy League lawyer turned career politician.

That’s funny. DeSantis was in my neighborhood last night at a private function seeking $$$$ for a presidential run. On the other hand, I don’t think T is running. T and his cronies should shut-up.

Technically, both people on the ticket can be from the same state. There’s no rule against it. But there is a rule that an elector can’t vote for two candidates both from the elector’s state, so if Trump and Desantis are vote Floridians, then Florida’s electoral votes can’t got to both. In a race where FL’s electoral votes are greater than or equal to the margin of victory, this could cause the Dem VP candidate to be elected along with Trump.

I understand how easy it was for Dick Cheney to become a Wyoming guy again. No one cared. But does Trump say he’s a New Yorker again just to accommodate someone else on the ticket? That seems like a distinctly non-Trump-like to do. Does Desantis say he’s not a Floridian? Desantis is a native of the state and is governor. Yeah, I suppose he could declare his love for Texas or Georgia all of a sudden, but that seems a little phony. This isn’t really a Dick Cheney situation.

The line for the circular firing squad forms on the right...

Exactly. This behavior is ridiculous. These guys need to drop the egos and unite against the true enemy that is right in our faces.

“The last thing this country needs in the White House is an Ivy League lawyer turned career politician.”

Really. It seems we have an over abundance of them in DC, and that’s not working out well for us.

“Fat boy? Has Roger Stone ever noticed Donald Trump’s girth?”

I think he said Frat Boy but it got lost in translation.

He truly is. He’s a big man, with great powers, and great flaws. He was the man for the moment and can continue to be of vast help for the movement. We don’t need him to run again. We need a new generation of leaders. I find DeSantis quite engaging actually.

What we emphatically don’t need is for that greasy POS Stone to be setting up a circular firing squad.

First of all this is .... Mediaite...quoting Axios, for the Love of God, why do apparently iformed people keep carrying water for this crap, including the “quotes” from Breitbart (who needs to be brought up short on this topic).

Roger Stone? unless he is working out a plea deal with the derpstate who came with a SWAT team to bust him for a “process” crime for which Trump pardoned him— this is whole cloth made up shite from Axios... etc.

Every day, fairly certain, the Gov. of FL and his #1 Citizen from Mar-A-Lago (the former Margaret Merriwether Post “mansion” reduced to a golf club) Palm Beach, FL— well, they have direct contact. Which will NEVER be confirmed by either one, because it is none of anyone’s business.

So- where is all this piss poorly constructed “advance oppo” crapola coming from? Why, it’s none other than Charlie (JEB!’s boy)Polesmoker Crist whose street slug team and DC based BS artists think can create “anti-Trump” coattails for idiot dems and “imported” illegals... against DeSantis. In order to make up for the utterly disgusting “Gillum”constituency. Which has discovered what Gillum was (and being pervo freaks themselves, might not care, but still they are a “demographic” of dopers, male hookers, and the low life of the state)

Channeled Through... Axios (check the staff and writers of Axios).

You will not hear anything from either Trump or DeSantis- they will not give any “legs” to this silliness. And note, when, if ever Roger “Nixon tat on his back” Stone the “swinger from the past” has ever been a source of such obvious Leftist twaddle.

This. You are right. So what if DeSantis isn’t our there saying if he will run or not and so what if Trump doesn’t like it? We all need to just let the MSM do whatever they are going to do and hold our cards close to the chest and don’t play into their hands.

Is DoSantis stupid?

Probably not.

But he has absolutely nothing to gain here.

This is definitely fake news. All week the media has been trying to fabricate a nonexistent rift between Trump and DeSantis. And definitely consider the source at the link.

“ seems like #fakenews is trying to cause strife”

Anything from Axios is suspect.

DeSantis presented an optimal Florida Congressional map which is 20-8 Republican, while Republicans in Indiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky and other states are needlessly giving extra seats to the Democrats.

Tell me I'm wrong, dude. LOL.

As president, Ron DeSantis would be 100 times better than Mitt Romney and 1,000 times better than John McCain. But I would give him 18 months before all his cheerleaders here on FR start calling him "George W. DeSantis."
