I suspect that they now realize that they’ve “over-reached” again. This time, waaaayyy too far, and it’s mostl likely going to cause a complete economic collapse and an unprecedented uprising. There is paranoid and there is total moonbat barking mad insane. Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House has been closed for years and on the Constitution Avenue side, the street is on the far side of the Ellipse. To the east and west, the White House is bordered by the Treasury and Old EOB buildings. That is an ample security perimeter for anything less than a nuclear weapon.
What is Team Biden afraid of? An armed uprising of senior Treasury Department employees upset over rising inflation?
