Must be where a lot of Rush’s listeners went.

Joe’s numbers were strong when Rush was still on the radio.

The Left’s greatest fear has long been plain-speakers with common sense.

He has had that size audience for years. When Rush was still here. A whole other demographic.

I’m about the age of most Freepers’ kids. Rogan has been huge with my demographic for 5+ years.

I listened to him today for the first time. I like that he let’s his guest talk, rather than the Hannity continuous interupt.

I doubt the average Limbaugh fan will go for Rogan. First, he's a left-leaning libertarian on many issues. Secone, Rogan's format isn't quick hits...his guests - some of whom Joe doesn't agree - are allowed to talk at length. Third, Joe isn't on AM radio.

That said, Rogan IS the Limbaugh for people under 40. He commands a LOT of power, voted with his feet (moving from CA to TX), isn't slimy, and doesn't shy away from provocative or polarizing guests.

It would be wise to not underestimate Rogan's appeal.

Using AOC’s logic, the left just wants to sleep with Joe Rogan.

Too many getting Twiggered on Twitter, couldn’t handle Robert Malone.

The same crowd that ratted people out or ran to the teacher in grade school may be the ones running to the technocrats to go after people.

You’ll like him. He’s kinda like the Rush of the next age. Not politically, but how Rush filled a need for straight truth for critical thinkers.

I saw him as a comedian, and didn’t do much for me. However, when I saw him interview Dr. McCullough, I was impressed with his interviewing skill. I am a fan now.

Rogan has been mega popular for years. Rush mentioned him from time to time and noted Rogan signed a contract for $100 million to do his podcast as an example of how the alternative media is changing the landscape as to how people are receiving information outside of the mainstream media.

You’re exactly right. My son turned me on to him. He’s 24 and more informed than me.

Joe Rogan is an excellent interviewer. His show provides for a true long form interview, typically running 3 hours. This is a complete opposite to a mainstream interview which might be 10 or 15 minutes.

Rogan also knows how to interview. He’s interested in learning so he doesn’t just ask questions, he lets the person speak without interruption. He’s genuinely interested in learning from whoever he interviews.

The scariest part about Rogan to the left is that he mostly agrees with their worldview. He openly admits that his political views are mostly in line with Bernie Sanders, not Trump or Ted Cruz. What makes him so wildly popular is that he doesn’t let those political viewpoints limit his approach to running a podcast. He approaches his shows like a comedian would, trying to peek into nooks and crannies and see if there’s a bit that resonates with the audience.

He also doesn’t have his income tied to following the party line, so he can stray from the liberal camp whenever he wants and, most importantly, he can call people out on their BS, not just the people on the unfavored side of his ideology.

The world needs more content creators like Joe Rogan. Even if every single one of them were leftists, having someone call out the absurdity of people in a nonpartisan way makes it harder for partisans to be absurd.
