I doubt the average Limbaugh fan will go for Rogan. First, he's a left-leaning libertarian on many issues. Secone, Rogan's format isn't quick hits...his guests - some of whom Joe doesn't agree - are allowed to talk at length. Third, Joe isn't on AM radio.

That said, Rogan IS the Limbaugh for people under 40. He commands a LOT of power, voted with his feet (moving from CA to TX), isn't slimy, and doesn't shy away from provocative or polarizing guests.

It would be wise to not underestimate Rogan's appeal.

You’re exactly right. My son turned me on to him. He’s 24 and more informed than me.

You can add to your list....Joe has no time constraints and no commercials. He can bring someone on, and wrap up the interview in 90 minutes, or run for 3 entire hours (no pause/break).

I would also suggest that about one-third of the time...the guest is of no interest to the average guy. He will bring on people to talk economics, science, sports, politics, and history.

So, we require lockstep- my way or the highway broadcasts? For me there are some non-negotiables, like abortion, and other things I can hold my nose and live with.
