Angry Bernie is FUN to watch. Here we see Bernie Sanders going full RAGE over the apparent sinking of his beloved Build Back Broke bill. Ironically, what little chance that bill might have had was sunk even lower by Bernie's hissy fit attack upon Senators Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema.
“upset”
I think doctors use the term “mentally disturbed” for people like Bernie.
So....was his next beach home in Hawaii and multi-million dollar cop-out progress payment contingent on a 2021 implementation or what? Fricking sellout...
He said the bill was “overwhelmingly supported by the American people”. That’s a huge pantload of obama.
If he’s so concerned about prescription drug costs need to remember who nuked President Trump’s work in lowering them.
And if these democrats are so concerned with people making ends meet, why don’t they help out of their own pockets that have been lined with taxpayer dollars and payoffs for deals made under the table?
Build
Bernie’s
Bolshevism
Bern is creeping in on 81 yrs. old...
AGE MATTERS, and he proved it...
time to send him home, permantely.
I hope Bernie stays so mad he blows a gasket and his ruined brain leaks out.
........................................
I’ll put that on my prayer list!
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
In other words, misguided Sanders got himself elected to the wrong government, the constitutionally limited power federal government, if he wants to support the type of spending authorized by Build Back Better.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
More specifically, Sanders should have gotten elected to a state government whose taxpayers are willing to accept the grief of letting him use their money under 10th Amendment state powers to once again prove that his socialist utopian fantasy spending (unaccountable funding) doesn't work.
In fact, the first thing that Sanders would need to do as a state lawmaker is to lead all the states to effectively "secede" from the corrupt federal government by repealing the 16th and 17th Amendments in order to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes.
After unconstitutional federal taxes are stopped then the states would ultimately find a tsunami of new revenues to do all things that legal majority citizen taxpayers want done in their respective states.
"[...] a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose, serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country." —Justice Louis Brandeis, Laboratories of Democracy.
Insights welcome.
Bernie’s whinefests are delicious.
