I notice that mistake in the dialogs of many TV programs and movies. When I really began to notice it, I assumed it was a relatively recent 'allowable' change in grammar. Then, I watched a series from the 1990s and noticed similar usage.

I can't say that I am surprised. I know of some 'grammar' textbooks even as early as the 1970s that had little 'grammar' instruction and a lot of games and stories.

Hitting the unsubscribe button only puts you on a list to receive even more spam. Just put the emails you don’t want in the spam folder. After once or twice all subsequent emails will go in the spam folder and you can delete them without reading. Same goes with responding to texts with STOP. Instead just click on the pull down menu and put the number in the reject list.

Why do so many people have trouble with the correct forms of pronouns? It's not hard to get them right.

Even the incredibly brilliant former Rhodes Scholar Bill Clinton used the wrong pronoun form in one of the debates in 1992 (had "I" as the object of a preposition).

There was a "Far Side" cartoon about the drafting of the US Constitution: "Should that be 'We the People' or 'Us the People'?" So it has been a problem for a long time.

I’m registered independent, have been since I left the LP couple of decades ago (I, unlike they, do NOT support or defend open borders nor LGBTQP agenda), DID register GOP last year to vote in primaries.

I can NOT get these wastes of oxygen to take me off their mailing lists.

I donated to Boebert. BAM, a dozen emails a day jamming my junk mail box. Unsubscribed dozens of times, they still keep coming.

I’ve even taken to - any time they send out a “postage included return envelope” - stuffing that envelope with about 1/4-3/8” of other junk mail and returning it with the note “take me off your mailing list.”

Doesn’t work, only makes them more aggressive.

At least planned parenthood finally responded to my return envelope notes “please remove me from your mailing lists you soulless ghouls. Rot in hell.”

But the GOP? Especially the progressives in RINO drag like McCarthy.

Just won’t leave me alone.

Good news is, I shred all their junk mail for my compost pile.
