Media ABSURDLY Buried/Avoided Key Moment in Rittenhouse Trial

VIDEO

It was one of the most dramatic moments in the history of criminal trials when Gaige Grosskreutz ADMITTED that he pointed his gun at Kyle Rittenhouse BEFORE the latter fired his rifle thus providing a slam dunk case for self-defense. However, that moment was either buried or avoided by much of the mainstream media. Such was the case with NBC News which downplayed that moment as almost an afterthought towards the end of its report or completely avoided by NBC News which hyped the whole situation as a "racial justice protest."

Now the big worry for the prosecution is not trying to convict Rittenhouse but to keep themselves from being indicted for witness tampering.

Many people observe that the News Misleadia is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party.

Not me.

I observe that the Democrat Party is a fully-owned subsidiary of the News Misleadia.

In trying to make THEIR case, the media will have blood on their hands when riots break out. (Not that they care).

.... again.

They already have blood on their hands from Portland.

They are gleeful about it.

They are going to indict themselves?

Prosecution is "in the clear" as far as the law is concerned. To me, and many on the general public, what the prosecution has done is unethical at best, and more aptly labeled "malicious," meaning clearly unjustified abuse of power with at least "process is the punishment" outcome in mind.

The legal system protects this sort of conduct. The hurdle for legal penalty is well known to prosecutors. There are hundreds of unjust dirty tricks that don't cross the boundary.

In the future members of the press will see themselves for what they are... there are already cracks in the wall...

“The WHOLE truth” means just that. Leaving the tiniest piece out can change a story.

Might have done something to prepare those who were looking for a conviction to be (legitimately) disappointed, but nooooo, wouldn’t want to do that, now would we? /s

And they want to keep the charge of being “under 18 and possessing a deadly weapon”...

Wisconsin hunting info indicates he wasn’t breaking the law by having the weapon:

“· Individuals born after Jan. 1, 1973 must have a certification of successfully completing a hunter safety course.
· Hunting Mentorship Program for novice hunters 10 years of age and older.
· No person under the age of 12 may obtain a hunting license; exception is the Hunting Mentorship Program.”

Witness tampering? If they did that it was a pretty piss poor attempt at it. None of the prosecution witnesses “help” the State’s case in any meaningful way.

I think it more likely that the prosecutors knew this was a no win but had to move forward on it because more riots would occur without a public trial.

Perhaps they believed with the passing of time, the atmosphere would cool and when (if) Rittenhouse is acquitted the people will be satisfied that an attempt at “justice” was made and riots would not follow. If this is their mindset, I think they misread the liberal mob.

“I observe that the Democrat Party is a fully-owned subsidiary of the News Misleadia.”

Even Rush started thinking that way in his final years. Even the Democrats don’t have the discipline to tell lie after lie without making mistakes in the process, but the media does.

The First Amendment, giving the unelected media control over everything, may well be what finally kills this country.

Of course they buried it, because that would defeat the narrative.

Why did Grosskreutz tell the truth? Why didn’t he lie his head off or at least shade the truth? Did the oath he took before testifying mean that much to him?

RUMOR on the net is that he was supplied with truth serum by the forces of good.

YMMV.

Why did Grosskreutz tell the truth? Why didn’t he lie his head off or at least shade the truth? Did the oath he took before testifying mean that much to him?

Why? Because he was looking directly at visual evidence, and he did not want to be convicted of perjury.

Why? Because the prosecution has created the theory he was fully justified in pointing a gun at Rittenhouse, because the crowd thought he was an "active shooter".

Two reasons, I think. There is video, and he is not a skilled sophist.
