A Reason to Be Vaccinated: Freedom

My aim in this article is to encourage Christians to be vaccinated, if they can do so with a good conscience and judicious medical warrant.

The people I have especially in view are those who are not vaccinated because of fear of being out of step with people they respect, and in step with people they don’t admire. My message to them is simple: You are free.

So, I am not talking directly to everybody. If the shoe fits, put it on, check your conscience, consult your doctor, and go get vaccinated. If it doesn’t, go tearfully and cheerfully on your way. Tearfully, because over 4.5 million people have died from COVID-19 worldwide (including over 700,000 Americans). And cheerfully, because Christ makes it miraculously possible to love people by being “sorrowful yet always rejoicing” (2 Corinthians 6:10)....

My point is this: Don’t be enslaved by fear of man. Don’t be enslaved by the fear of breaking ranks with ideological allies. The old name for this is peer pressure. You are free.....

I was just thinking to myself, judging by his warped logic- that if Nazism, God- Forbid, took over here— Piper woudl probably argue that “IF we want to eat, work, shop, buy heating oil, fuel for cars etc- we should just submit to Nazi rules, and not be ‘peer pressured’ into resisting because ‘ideologues have led the folks astray”

You have pondered the likelihood and unlikelihood of conspiratorial conjectures.

Actually, it doesn't require a tin-foil hat. Many of us have seen so many twists and turns - e.g. going from "don't wear a mask because we don't have enough" to "mask up even if it's home-made" - that we have small dossiers of evidence showing how the authorities play fast and loose with the facts.

I think what this guy is trying to say, is that our eyes and ears shouldn't be believed. That's stupid talk.

I’m not going to be enslaved by fear of a virus that’s over 99% survivable either.

I am not giving in to the fear of man, which is why I am NOT getting the vax.

I am not afraid of breaking ranks with certain political ideologies, which is why I am not taking the vax.

Submitting to demonic tyranny is not “freedom”.

Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, where my family started attending back from as early as April 2020 in defiance against the Los Angeles county and state of California mandatory lockdown, the senior pastor John MacArthur  said in his sermon that C0VID-19's 99%  survival rate is not pandemic!  If it's 99% survival rate, why even bother to vaccinate?  Some black churches I know also informed congregants about the Tuskegee experiment the government experimented injecting supposed syphilis vaccine to black volunteers from 1932 to 1972 that actually spreaded the venereal disease, many that were injected suffered for life.  Most black Christian friends they know the C0VID-19 injection is also experiment, why even take the darn vaccine.
