Crossed a Line.
What is going on here?
I support the right of anyone to get vaccinated or not. I support free speech and free thought. However...
Though I was not looking, in less than one day I have seen THREE posts by non-noob Freepers who are fully supporting Orwellian Australian tactics, and/or gleefully wishing death on those Freepers who have chosen to wait on the vaccine or chosen therapeutics, etc.
If this was twitter, I would not be so distressed and surprised. But this is Free Republic where the main page Front center headline is:

Do these posts really represent Free republic? God, Family, Country?
Are there no lines that Freepers should not cross??
At the very least, these people should be called out.

Agreed. I support vaccines, and think not getting the jab is as dumb as kissing a lamppost in an Iowa winter, but I also believe in freedom.
It is not up to the state to decide what medical treatments a person takes.

Someone wishing death on another FReeper is clearly against the rules. “Report abuse” usually takes care of it when someone goes that far.
I have a similar approach.
Often all you need to do is ask them to fill in more details until they show true crazy...

Most likely the case. The smart ones realize that their newer join date makes them highly suspect.
And we know that FR accounts have been successfully hacked into... even very recently.
Somehow they were able to get control of user accounts that were logged off.
It doesn’t take long to figure out what’s going on though when you search posting history on someone.... It’s like all they do is push the vaccines.
They could be trolls and leftists who come just to stir up sh**.
I count how many times I can get them to respond. I use typical agitation methods.
My record is 32 exchanges.

Amazing that you forgot to name them.
I don't see how a thinking person can possibly be for mandatory vaccinations or denying healthcare to the non-vaxed now that we have seen how ineffective the vaccines are. I had the two Pfizer jabs back in March, and every day I read about how ineffective the Pfizer jabs are. I can't understand why Howard Stern and Ahnode don't feel safe because some people have not been vaccinated with a worthless vaccine.
Please call those people out. Thats just uncalled for. I dont agree on a lot of things with probably most freepers, but there is no need to get like that.

I don’t know why you feel it’s necessary to even engage those people.
I have stated over and over and over that I don’t care what anyone does about the vaccine. I do point out where people are using selective or faulty statistical arguments. I point out where both sides are just tossing red meat to the masses.
Often times when the “a holes” are screaming something with which you agree…you don’t see them as jerks. FR has become the VFW bar on a Tuesday afternoon.

Tho I will re-iterate that in past 24 hours, it was the pro-vaccine crowd who were talking about the Small Pox squads going through neighborhoods and “laughing” at anti-vaxxers “croaking.”
