Employers in Maine Can Ask Applicants if They’ve Been Vaccinated but Not if They’ve Been Convicted of Felonies
The Liberty Daily ^ | Jul. 23, 2021 | J.D. Rucker

As our freedoms are weakened by vaccine authoritarianism, protections for the convicted darlings of the “woke” continue to increase. The latest example is Maine where a bill was just signed preventing employees from asking if someone has a prior felony conviction until… wait for it… they’re already offered them the job. They can, however, ask up front if an applicant has been vaccinated for Covid-19.

In essence, someone with a criminal record of violence or theft has a better chance of getting a job in Maine than someone who has acquired natural immunity to Covid-19 but who has chosen not to get vaccinated. That’s the direction society is heading, especially in blue states. According to Just The News:

Employers in Maine will be prohibited from asking prospective job candidates about their previous criminal histories under a new law signed by Gov. Janet Mills.

The new law, which was approved by the Legislature in the final days of its session, will ban companies from screening people with criminal backgrounds before those applicants have an opportunity to go through the preliminary hiring process.

Under the new rules, which take effect in October, employers must delay questions about a criminal history until after they’ve made a conditional offer of employment. After that, they can ask about criminal convictions, but not about previous arrests or charges.

There are also exemptions in the new law for situations where a previous felony conviction prohibits a prospective employee from being considered for the opening. Employers that violate the new rules, which will be enforced by the Maine Department of Labor, could face penalties of up to $500 for each violation.

The felony thing has been a Godsend to a LOT of guys seeking employment that has a spot on their record.

Good men that made a mistake and are now productive, patriotic citizens.

Having said that, the vaccination question just shows how fake some of our laws really are.

Consider the GCA 1968

I want my Immunity Passport!

Take the t-cell CoVID antibodies test to see if you have natural immunity as a survivor of CoVID, or that 'little bug' a few months ago was CoVID, and you now have better immunity than the 'jab'. Especially applies to your kids.

Just because the globalist depopulation oligarchs want to foist an experimental “vaccine” upon every human being on the planet to combat a weaponized virus the creation of which they funded does NOT mean that anything nefarious is afoot.™ 🤡

I want my Immunity Passport for having t-cell antibodies for CoVID in my body, which is even better protection than the 'jab'. This makes me part of the 'herd' of the herd immunity we are striving for.

I feel bad about my relatives who might have been naturally immune but got a 'jab' without testing for immunity antibodies first.

‘Enclosed please find a check for $500, we aren’t hiring your freakin’ felons.’

So the Maine Dept. of Labor is really just saying that it’s OK to do a criminal background check, as long as you’re willing to pay $500 for it.

I think I see a problem with that.

https://nypost.com/2021/03/09/fda-approves-new-covid-19-test-that-could-help-long-haulers/

The blood test extracts DNA from T-cells and then uses machine-learning software developed in a partnership with Microsoft to determine if the person has been previously infected with the virus.

The CoVID antibodies test is different for detecting recent exposure and response, or exposure months ago by looking at limpids in your blood, or t-cells in your blood (stored in bone marrow). The t-cells is a more expensive test, but more accurate.

Either test will qualify you for an Immunity Passport as it includes the naturally immunized as well as the 'jab' infected / 'vaccinated'.

Or...just trash all the applications with a name that looks like one chosen at random from a Zimbabwe phone book.

My answer “I had covid…to deny natural immunity is to deny a century of proven science”.

If that answer isn’t good enough I’m going to look elsewhere.

It's the passport that's the problem here, my friend, not the vaccine (or your evidence of immunity).

We're being pushed towards a society where someone of any authority (the owner of the business you frequent, for example) can stop you and say, "Zeigen Sie mir Ihre Papiere." The "vaccine" is nothing more than a step to that state.

No matter what anyone's opinion here is on the shot, everyone should see the danger in this and should be fighting it tooth and nail.

“Employers in Maine will be prohibited from asking prospective job candidates about their previous criminal histories”

Every employer has the natural right to ask, and condition employment on, anything they choose.

Unfortunately, everyone up here is going to have to wait until December 2022 for anything good to come out of our state government. That’s when the new legislature is sworn in and I’m confident that the progressive are going to lose in a landslide next year.
