Columbus Police Department officials released an officer’s bodycam video showing the seconds leading up to the shooting of a teenage girl. The chaotic video shows a fight in progress.
The Columbus Division of Police released a bodycam video showing Tuesday’s shooting of a young black girl who appeared to be armed with a knife. The video appears to show the girl fighting with another girl as the officer opens fire.

** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** However, slowed-down bodycam footage revealed that the cop is actually a hero as he saved the other girl’s life.
The girl was identified as Makiyah Bryant. The knife can be seen in Makiyah’s hand as she appears to attempt to stab the girl in pink. The officer fires his weapon and the girl falls to the ground. The original video shows the knife laying beside her.

She was armed with a knife with deadly intent. Justified. Saved an innocent victim. Great job law enforcement!
Tasers are used to prevent escalation, not in a scenario when life is in immediate danger.
This is what’s called a non-discretionary use of force.
Cops had to use deadly force to protect the life of another from a deadly assailant.
A taser would not have stopped Makiyah Bryant from gutting that other girl like a fish.
Deadly force was the cop’s ONLY option to save that other black life.
Apparently, cops are now always wrong, even when using deadly force to save black lives from black would-be killers.

I think it’s past time that only black officers police black neighborhoods. That way the Burn-Loot-Murder crowd won’t have whitey to blame for the subsequent deaths when blacks are shot dead.

We live in a sick time when it's even remotely necessary to call out the race of a saved life. It shouldn't matter.
In the aftermath a friend of Makiyah stated that she was a loving girl, an honor roll student who “promoted peace”.
Peace through stabbing.

That guy was sure right.
Certain groups, and I’m not saying it’s just blacks, only know to solve problems with deadly violence.
After the chauvin trial, I expect to see less of this.
Cops will just drive on by. Why bother getting out of the car?
I’ve almost reached the point that particulars no longer matter in these police incidents.
If every police officer in the US is a ‘wolf’s head’ and if THEY receive NO redress in the law.. their efficacy is wholly compromised.
Security will become a costly indulgence that ONLY wealthy communities and individuals can enjoy.
The rest of us are on our own ...never mind the legal ‘particulars’ of self-defense, etc. It’s a retrograde move back to the Wild West and Dodge City. Call THAT progress?? Better yet, do you call that LOGIC?
