Instagram has removed conservative political commentator Kaitlin Bennett’s iconic graduation photo from three years ago for “violence and incitement.” Meanwhile, the platform has allowed an endless stream of threats against the right-wing firebrand to continue for years.
Apparently, Instagram believes that photos of you peacefully exercising your Second Amendment right are a crime. In their notification to Bennett, they said “we don’t allow content that may lead to a genuine risk to physical harm or direct threat to public safety.”

Speaking to the Gateway Pundit, Bennett said that the company did not just remove her post, they accused her of a crime — and if they truly believe she is a threat, they should call the police.
“If Instagram is going to say that I’m making direct threats to public safety, then they should call the cops. They’re not just taking down a post that they say goes against community standards. They’re accusing me of committing a crime,” Bennett said. “Ironically they are perfectly okay with letting thousands of liberals use their platform to make direct threats against me all the time.”
Additionally, Bennett accused them of siding with mass shooters because of the intent behind her photo.
“I took my graduation photo as a statement that the Kent State massacre wouldn’t have happened if the students that got shot had guns,” she added. “By taking down my graduation photo, Instagram is siding with the mass shooters.”
Bennett also noted that she has been subjected to countless threats on the platform, none of which Instagram seems to take action against.
“If Instagram is going to say that I’m making direct threats to public safety, then they should call the cops. They’re not just taking down a post that they say goes against community standards. They’re accusing me of committing a crime. Ironically they are perfectly okay with letting thousands of liberals use their platform to make direct threats against me all the time.”
She also provided a sampling of the threats and harassment she has received in recent days. Warning, they are vulgar and disturbing.
Of course they don’t (and can’t) name the act of violence this pic of her incited.
To be a Progressive you have to sacrifice reason on the altar of feelings.
I don't really know what an "Instagram" is - But we conservatives ought not to cede a single inch of "territory" to the enemy.

hmmm, a 308 rifle with a 30 round magazine and a short range scope? (and what about 1 shot, 1 kill?)
#4 Re “Don’t really need the scope for urban warfare”.
Perhaps she wanted to use it to “scope” the hostile crowds and environments. /sarc
#15. Did you mean “nice gun” or “nice gams”? That shows how old I am and “gams” doesn’t stand for “gamester”.
If you are not a slave to facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. none of this crap makes any difference.
You win wars by surviving. Key in that is picking battles you can win.
You cannot win against Instagram on Instagram where your actions give them mioney, they make the rules, and they have every possible advantage.
You win against Instagram by building a competition that destroys Instagram.
Leaving, and taking your viewers with you, is victory.
I don’t think so. That’s clearly a 30 round 5.56 mag.
This one looks like an AR-15.
Ever carried one around.
308 battle rifles are heavy their ammo is more than twice as heavy as a 5.56.
I have own and used and shot many examples of both.
What’s a short range scope?
For me any thing from a 3x9 on down works well. The newer stuff even has a larger range of power.
So many choices so little time and money.
For urban warfare she should switch over to a TS-12.
yeah you do. Roof top shooting hall mark for urban warfare
just guessing but perhaps it is a competition rifle.
or maybe it is a “trophy rifle” (if such a thing exists, lol).
