In this "Dark Winter," I suggest a fun little exercise.
Let's collectively write a novel, ONLY using dialogue from movies.
Only rule: You must quote the dialogue correctly and source it (i.e., "Wizard of Oz," 1939).
Now, I'm NOT going to start this. I will leave it to a brave Freeper to begin. However, Brave Freeper #1, remember that whatever foundation you lay, almost everyone is going to be constrained by that. . . at least at first. That said, fire away.
Awww, almost every one of Calahan’s lines are good.
Especially the politically incorrect ones.
How about a day where the people rise up and kill the media.
The day the propagandists all died.
The day the peoples representatives all resigned.
The great reboot.
The new elections, with all those inked fingers and nobody to tell us who wins.....

“And cousin, business is a-boomin’!”
The mayor’s representative on the panel was “MS. Grey”, a Hillary-type who clearly had no time for Callahan’s macho persona.
The exchange went like this:
Lt. Dobbs: Are you finished with the questioning, Callahan?
Harry Callahan:
Hypothetical situation, huh? All right, I'm standing on the street corner, and Mrs. Grey there comes up and propositions me. She says if I come home with her, for $5 she'll put on an exhibition with a Shetland pony...
Mrs. Grey: If this is your idea of humor, Inspector...
Lt. Dobbs: All right, what are you trying to do here, Callahan?
Harry Callahan: I'm just trying to find out if anybody in this room knows what the hell law is being broken, besides cruelty to animals.

I’m a horrible human being.
These Dirty Harry comments have inspired me to watch all of the DH movies yet again.
I just finished Magnum Force.

Time to watch Tyne Daly skitter-scatter on the streets of San Francisco in The Enforcer.
(think she’s my favorite supporting character out of all of the DH movies)

Don’t forget Pale Rider.
