A poodle inside a modern house, left with plenty of food and water and a place to go to the bathroom without getting in trouble, will be just fine. It’s a dog. You can’t take dogs everywhere you go unless you insist that they are emotional support animals. Doesn’t change the fact that they are dogs. We leave our dogs at home in the house for many hours and they are fine, even when it is cold and rainy.

I don't have a problem with his security guard taking care of the dog. A non issue.
