Rush Limbaugh gives proper thanks to President Trump. – The great radio host Rush Limbaugh, who is battling stage 4 lung cancer, published this poignant statement of thanks to the greatest U.S. president in modern times yesterday:
“My days on earth are numbered; But before I fade away, there is something important I need to say. It may not be important to anyone else; but it’s important to me. Win, lose or fraud President Trump, I just want to say thank you for the last four years Thank you for making it cool to be an American again. Thank you for showing us that we don’t need to be under China’s thumb anymore economically, or any other way. Thank you for one of the strongest economies we’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. Thank you for all you have done for the minority communities, and the outstanding decrease in the unemployment rate you had. Thank you for making it feel good to love our country and to be a proud patriot again. Thank you for supporting our Nation’s flag and the men and women who fought for the freedom that stands behind that flag. Thank you for supporting our nation’s law enforcement organizations, and understanding how difficult their job really is. Thank you for quelling the flood of illegal immigration, and bringing to justice the thousands of criminals that flood brought us. Thank you for giving corporations a reason to come back to America to make our own products and put Americans back to work. Thank you for bringing our troops home from endless deployments that presented us with little more than body bags; and for your commitment to strengthen our military. Thank you for operation warp speed and keeping your promise to bringing the Covid 19 vaccine to us in less than a year. Thank you for your never-ending attempts at bringing peace to the Middle East and your support for Israel. Thank you for your Tax relief, and thank you for our energy independence. Most of all though… THANK YOU for taking a damn rotten job that you never had to take!! Thank you for caring enough for this country to want to try and make a difference.
Thank you for showing America how little Career Politicians actually work for their constituents; for showing us how much those politicians despise you for showing America how easy it is to build a great nation, rather than rape her to line their own pockets and stock portfolios. There is too much controversy over this one, I think it should have been left off this list. I know this comment is very controversial to be made here at FR, but such an opinion is quite popular outside this bubble.
I am a fan both Trump and Rush, but neither Rush or Trump are always correct. But on the average, they are correct the super vast majority of the time and I wish we could keep both for forever.

I believe Rush was off most of last week, supposed to return on Friday but didn’t.

The only hope that remains for me is this: That Trump, as imperfect a messenger as he might have been, has opened the eyes of many to the depth of corruption that has it’s teeth sunk into the neck of our Nation’s leaders.
They conspired together, this time, to pull a zombie figurehead over the finish line. MAYBE, some on our side now realize the strength of the forces aligned against us. Maybe now, our side will start fighting.
I’m not sure I actually believe they will. But, I still have a thread of hope.
I doubt we’ll ever have another President as good as Trump. He was too good and showed up all the crooks and exposed their wickedness. We were truly fortunate for his 4 years.

I agree. But in his one term as president, he has shown how it's done and he has shown Republicans the way. Will they listen? Hopefully some will take it and run with it. We can only hope. Most of this present class of repubs in Washington still don't get it. I hope we see fresh blood from the private sector. Maybe President Trump can be a mentor.
This was an excellent read...I've followed Rush for a long, long time...had a beauty shop in a nursing home and every day, Rush was turned on...FOR ME, because all my customers ‘were lost in the woods’ but I loved each one I cared for..worked at that location for 11 years...Had my own MOM as a resident, she spent three years, visiting in the salon, she loved it...after her passing I could no longer remain... I still miss the trade, and the wonderful families I grew to know..
It was during that period I listened to Rush get his first COCHLEAR IMPLANT...and I stored all his information in my memory bank!!. and in 2010 I ALSO was COCHLEAR IMPLANTED, and like Rush, I had a second implant...and together RUSH LIMBAUGH and myself HEAR NOW, HEAR ALWAYS...
I always shared with my teaching Prof and Surgeon of how I became familiar with COCHLEAR..it was a great learning experience...so to RUSH LIMBAUGH, I SAY..
THANK YOU’ and thank you for all the wisdom and knowledge you share with AMERICANS...I will love him until his last breath...GOD BLESS AND CARE FOR HIM AND KATHERYN...
