Not only is the city completely abandoned by ordinary Americans, but it feels like a military garrison, courtesy of 25,000 National Guard troops, police, and Secret Service posted at every intersection. Many of them are sleeping at my hotel and I couldn’t wish for better roommates.
But their frustration is obvious. These good men and women have left their homes, families and jobs to be here, but to what end? We can all see there is no threat to be faced. Fake news is relying on repeating their footage of the riot at Capitol Hill to perpetuate the myth that this is a city under siege to domestic terror.
D.C. now feels like one giant stage built entirely for a drama of the Democrats' own creation. I’d argue the troops are being used as bit-part actors, for crowd scenes and effect. If you wanted to create the illusion that the Trump administration turned America into a war zone, what better way than to make D.C. a green zone, build ramparts and blockades, and fill it with troops, trucks, and men with weapons?

As I have said before I believe that the military are currently involved in the end game takedown of the communist revolution. So I think we need to stay out of the way and let them do their job. Of course many people disagree with my outlook. I say time will tell.

Time has already told - our Republic was stolen by thrived. The military was given a loyalty test...and passed by sending NG from literally every single state as a way of showing the people who’s boss, and that there’s nothing we can do about it. Obama already purged it of virtually all of the traditional senior officers who were loyal to the Constitution. Game over.

Unless we get our shit together and stop fantasizing, and start acting like a people who KNOW that even a dictatorship cannot govern a nation that wishes to be free. We need to understand that to know that we can succeed in taking our country back, and then proceed to do it.

It was a riot. Joe has serious cognitive disability. When Jill tells him to put his hand where I pee, Joe reaches under the bed and sticks his hand in the camber pot.
Whats sad is that he is a puppet on drugs, The pump Stealer Joe up with a cocktail of Adrenalin and anti arthritic pain killers a couple of times a day. When they wear off he develops a Parkinson’s like shuffle and has to be towed around by his wife, Tugboat Jill.
He won;t last even six months, and even Democrats who are not lefties gasped at his harsh executive orders.Biden is on his way to vast unpopularity WITHOUT the press attacking him every day.I suspect that he will start doing bizarre old man things like fondling women’s hair in public, and at that point some one will speak into Joe’s ear piece, “For family reasons it is necessary for me to resign my office at this time....” and Joe will speak the words just as you say.
OR. perhaps tugboat Jill will resist the fall from power for herself, and work against his resignation, in which case Kamala-la will exercise the 25th amendment, which Pelosi is slavering over, elevating Harris to the presidency and Pelosi into the VP position. Hecate would not be any worse than these two for America.
You and I can be very thankful we do not live in the USA. I see it disintegrating quite badly over the next year and a half.Things will get bloody in certain areas, as citizens refuse to bend to the will of the socialist Politicon.
So who called the troops to Washington? You keep saying the NG. They don’t get up and decide to go anywhere. Trump was asked to call 15,000. He sent 26,000 and finally over 30,000. Why did Donald Trump bother to do all of that?
It is likely that Trump signed an open-ended order to give authority to someone to call in as many NG “as necessary” to secure the Capitol. Like with so many other things, he was misled by others that he should have been able to trust, and it turned from a couple thousand to 2 divisions worth. Remember that his own COS was keeping people away from him those last 2 weeks, and the SH Counsel was advising against a lot of the pardons that DJT wanted to make.
Face reality, the coup was successful. Turn your energy toward a realistic solution; the domestic enemy would love for us to continue to be involved in conspiracy theories that have us chasing our tail instead of opposing their agenda and planning to oust them. C’mon, you and others sound like Hitler in his bunker, waiting for imaginary armies with imaginary super weapons to defeat the Russians and the allies in 2 weeks. It isn’t going to happen - please get out of your funk and do something productive.

Have you heard Congress has told the reps to go home? The House schedule has been cancelled for next week? They just started a new session. I think you should stay tuned.
The House was never scheduled to meet next week. Only the Senate
Of course the House was scheduled to meet the new session just started. In fact the schedule which I checked earlier this morning shows they are Supposed to be in session next week.

No...Biden's term did not begin until noon and Trump's did not end until noon. Biden reciting the oath before that does not change what it says in the Constitution.

It will be a fun bit of trivia for constitutional law geeks, but it was also telling. Everyone in Washington, including many in Republican leadership, were a bit too eager to begin the Biden administration and to end Trump’s. However, it should be a cautionary tale, too. Democrats are moving aggressively to muscle through an ambitious agenda in Congress that may raise serious constitutional questions and cause even greater political divisions.
