One thing we know about Trump is that he doesn't act irrationally or hastily. He and other loyalists have known for a while this might happen and we can be sure they know what the options are and are considering what action needs to be taken.
They have not been blindsided by the Supreme Court. They knew this could happen and were probably advised all along the way.

For the life of me, I don't see how the State of Texas does not have "standing". In my mind, every citizen has "standing" in this because everyone has a stake in the outcome. A private citizen would have to start in the lower courts though while Texas, being a state, can go to the front of the line.

Giving up isn’t the answer for sure. I don’t know all the legalities possible but President Trump knew they would cheat so I have to believe he prepared for it somehow to show all the cheating but still win.
