The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Saturday evening reversed a lower court’s block on certifying the state’s elections issued Friday night, dismissing with prejudice a lawsuit brought by Republican candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives that sought to have the results nullified over constitutional concerns about a 2019 change in absentee ballot rules. The lead plaintiffs in the case are Rep. Mike Kelly and Sean Parnell.

That photo reminded me of something that happened a few days ago. I was shopping in a little gift store, and a women came in and asked the staff if they carried any jewelry with Ruth Bader Ginsberg on it. Really. Commemorative RBG jewelry was requested. Yuck. After the customer left without any RBG related items I slid over to the staffer and asked who Ruth Gater Binsburg was, lol, she replied: “I have no idea”. Going forward, if RBG ever comes up in conversation, I will ask, very innocently, “Who is this Ruth Gater Binsburg person?” And in the middle of the lesson - I will just drift on away.
It’s best to get it past them asap. Totally expected by a bunch of activist leftist hacks! A stolen presidential election is not worth their time?
Are those morons appointed for life or term limited? If they are term limited, they need to replace those morons with idiots. Then maybe they’ll know the law...
Good to hear from you.
But their reasoning had nothing to do with the case that the Republicans brought. They ruled that the number of contested votes was fewer than the margin of Biden’s majority. The case wasn’t contesting a specific number of votes because it was impossible to separate the illegal ballots. What the Republicans were contesting was that the Governor and the partisan courts had usurped the power of the legislature to set the rules for the election.
Since this is state law, there is no appeal to the US Supreme Court. This is the end of the road for this lawsuit. The only avenue left in PA is to somehow get the legislature to act. There aren’t enough votes to do that.
They are a rogue court, the Supremes will smack them down.
You’re precisely right.
Wait and see.
This suit alleged violations of the Pennsylvania constitution. Do the federal courts have jurisdiction?

1. The rogue PA Supreme Court is the most detestable court in the land. The Democrat majority doesn’t even pretend to sit as justices.

It’s “moot” not “mute”
This suit alleged violations of the Pennsylvania constitution. Do the federal courts have jurisdiction?
So my posted seemed reasonable. Like, I'm not a crazy nut job or anything, right? I am starting to question what is real or not here in Pennsylvania.
Wait and see.
Thanks
Homophones are of the devil
Moot. :)

2. They’re political hacks in black robes who have destroyed PA’s election system, unconstitutionally seized power from the state legislature, and sits as a Democrat-Party politburo.

3. Rather than uphold the federal and state constitutions, it has shredded them. Stalinism lives.

“It did not take long for the PA SC Hacks to act.
Onward to the U.S. Supreme Court.”
Their not taking very long is a good thing, the lawsuit get’s to go to the SC much sooner than if they sat on it.
