Like the oppressive Soviet regimes of the Cold War and their secret snitching, Oregon governor Kate Brown is encouraging citizens to call the police on people who not adhering to her arbitrary COVID decrees. If you have more than six people at your home, or people from more than two households over for Thanksgiving, you are in violation of Her Majesty’s edicts, and your neighbors are to rat you out. Leonid Brezhnev would be applauding Governor Brown!

Good for them; do these states have the resources to check out all houses that “may” be having TDay dinners? I’d call them peaceful protesting dinners.

Reminds me of the movie “Swing Kids” about kids sneaking out to clandestine jazz clubs during the 1930’s in Germany where even kids informed on their parents.
I expect it will be tough to have a judge put their name on such a search warrant on Thanksgiving Day. Then again ... this is Oregon ... another one of the Left's "utopias".

The civil population outnumbers these Nazi thugs millions to one, but we all comply. Just like the Proles in the novel 1984, the state keeps everyone just entertained enough (cell phones, Netflix, FB, etc.) to keep them subdued and subservient.

Most Oregon police will ignore any calls...they will tell you publicly “we don’t have the resources” and privately ...uh...well...you can figure it out.
A warrant can be circumvented by “probable cause”. I’m sure that the pan-sexual Himmler has figured that one out.

The solution to this is, of course, quite simple. If just a small percentage of people were to rat on cooperating friends who might superficially appear to be violating the order, but actually aren’t, the authorities would be overwhelmed with too many calls to possibly check them all out.
One could park several cars in the driveway, but have no visitors, have three family members from the same household each drive a separate car, be gone from the house, etc.
Cuba still has it, it’s called “The Committee For the Defense of the Revolution”, every block in Cuba has a Karen who watches what everyone is doing.
Do you have. warrant officer? No? The. i guess you will be leaving. would you like a piece of pumpkin pie to take with you?
The role of these guys going forward is going to become extremely important.
Someday, someone might object in a tangible way. You can only be a tyrant for so long with impunity.
