The Anti-Catholic Presidency to Come
The American Spectator ^ | November 8, 2020 | GEORGE NEUMAYR

Joe Biden’s campaign to con Catholics, often with the help of their own bishops, paid off. He appears to have scooped up at least half of Catholic voters. In the crucial Rust Belt states, he fared far better with them than Hillary Clinton did.

“It turns out that while Trump stays on par (or better) with the Catholic vote nationwide, the GOP’s share of the Catholic vote has been slowly dropping wherever Catholics are more thickly clustered. Trump’s 8 percentage point drop from 2016 with these voters — especially in the swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania — is a continuation of a longstanding trend,” reports the Religion News Service.

Countless bishops told Catholics that they could vote for Biden in “good conscience,” and they did. Many bishops aligned with Pope Francis discouraged Catholics from focusing on differences between Trump and Biden on abortion. Don’t be “single issue” voters, they said.

Now the bishops will reap what they have sown. In the first days of the Biden administration, we will see all of Trump’s pro-life executive orders vanish, along with the protections of religious freedom he extended to conscientious Christian doctors, nurses, and others. The Obama-era assault on the First Amendment will begin anew. The Left is already salivating at the prospect, celebrating the “pain” Christians will feel under a Biden presidency...

...and, in equally good conscience, we lost souls can withhold our money from the catholic bishops and their fund drives.

It’s going to be bad. Evangelicals will have a problem too.

These religious leaders want to create a “church” unencumbered by moral standards that would do the bidding of the Deep State - they have nothing to fear from a Biden administration.

Oh no. Joe and Pelosi both say they pray to god...we’re just not sure which god they pray to. I’m betting it’s not the God that condemns abortion.

Too many Bishops are wed to increasing illegal immigrant congregations, because "citizens" have left in droves.

So, rather than preach against Abortion and homosexuality, they pretend that supporting ILLEGAL immigration is the same as LEGAL immigration and that there is no difference.

As though Scripture has no position on national sovereignty.

I wonder for whom the Pope prayed to win this election, as well as a good many Catholics.

I expect many churches to be threatened or simply taken over by the equivalent of political officers to toe the new line.

Blacks will have a worse problem if Biden wins. In the next four years the federal funding for abortions, which largely target blacks, will skyrocket. If they are successful the kill rate of black babies may reach 75% per year.

This is a “woe to” passage” in the Bible for pastors and teachers of all denominations!!!!

My friends, not many of you should become teachers. As you know, we teachers will be judged with greater strictness than others. James 3:1

The Catholic Church will become extinct soon. They will have less people at mass than a Joe Biden rally.

Many people have left the Catholic Church and also mainstream Protestant churches.

Bible based non-denominational seems to be the future. Didn’t they and evangelical churches vote for Trump and stick to biblical principles?

I go to a bible based non-denom and I’m very happy.

While I enjoy the fellowship of “organized religion”, I do not follow the dictates of man.
I listen, read the Bible, and follow only GOD.
