Most Americans of all stripes flatter themselves that somehow we Americans are better than others. The sense that we are smarter, more civilized, built a greater country, just have something in us that makes us better because we live here. Even most leftists feel that way, quietly complimenting themselves that somehow they are better for being here in the America they hate.

Not so, there are plenty of good people who have swallowed over a century of Republican and conservative demonization. Just read the walkwaway stories. I’ve been watching mostly youtube videos from liberals who have abandoned the Democrat party. They honestly think the Republican party has changed. Leadership perhaps because they are listening to the grass roots for the first time in decades, mostly because of Donald Trump. But the actual Republican party has not changed, that’s why we elected Donald Trump. And we and our newfound ‘liberal’ cohorts will elect him again by a bigger margin, which will be necessary to overcome the inevitable voter fraud.

Nah. Godwin’s Law is just a way to suppress legitimate comparisons of Dems to NAZIs since they can’t actually refute the solid arguments. Accepting the unilateral liberal reconfiguration of the rules is surrender.

I’ll have to respectfully disagree. After having listened to countless Progressive imbeciles calling Donald J Trump “Hitler” I think we are better off leaving old Adolph out of any discussions of current events.
Besides, today’s Democrats owe a lot more to Mao for their ideology and comportment.

Sorry simpleton. First of all, Godwins law is not a law. It’s simply a funny meme dreamed up by some guy name Godwin. It’s not a recognized fallacy of logic.
Second of all, the headline mentions Hitler and asks if America was voting like Germans who supported Hitler. The entire threat is about Adolph. Therefore, i did not bring up hitler, I merely responded to the writer who was discussing hitler.
Try to keep up.
The article is about whether or not we are like Germans support Hitler. It’s not possible to give any sort of response without referring to the original concept.
Godwins law is merely a leftist axiom designed to suppress anybody pointing out the similarities of progressives to totalitarians.
