Amid a staggering daily increase in newly confirmed coronavirus cases, Gov. Mike DeWine once again pleaded with the public to continue wearing a mask and practicing social distancing, fearing that further increases would result in schools and businesses being forced to shut down.
DeWine, speaking during a news conference in Cleveland, did not say any such measure was imminent, but said he was caught off guard by the increase in coronavirus cases over the past three weeks. But a continuing surge in the virus had the possibility to upend the progress the state has made on the economy and reopening schools, he said.
Public health officials have always predicted an increase in cases as the weather turned colder, a time when people move activities inside.
“Even knowing that, I was surprised at the rate of increase,” DeWine said. “And one of the things that should cause us some concern is, unlike the summer when we saw these cases mostly be among young people, we’re seeing the age go up. The other difference between now and summer is we’re seeing the hospitalization go up at a faster rate than it did during the summer. We can only assume, or I’m assuming, that is because we’re now talking about an older group.”...

This is an obtuse over the hill politician doing what he always does, ducking reality. The fact is, Ohio had all of 8 deaths reported today, hospitalizations were all of one per hospital. Big deal. The dimensions of the fraud are slowly heaving into view and they are not pretty. The vast bulk of deaths in Ohio have been elderly medically compromised who most likely would have died this year anyway, their departure hastened only by maybe weeks or a couple months. But you will never get a government official to tell you that truth. Instead we suffer through this psychotic charade of a pandemic which is not now, if it ever was, a threat to the average person.

Especially since sunlight hours are getting shorter, artificial lighting urbanites might consider including vitamins D3 and C supplements in their diets to help fight COVID-19 and flu in my non-medical opinion.

Look at the case of Nick Saban last week: 1 positive and then 2 negatives...but he is counted as a positive case.

Death rate in Ohio is about 42 per 100,000. That is if you count the CDC expanded defining of a COVID death. I have not checked the death rate numbers in about a week, but as of a week ago, total Ohio deaths due to COVID were just under 5,000 out of a population of 11.7 million. From the first reporting of COVD deaths in Ohio for ages 0 to 19 were 2. Deaths for ages 20 to 29 were 13. Deaths for ages 30 to 39 years were 36. Deaths for ages 40 to 49 were 82. Deaths for ages 50 to 59 were 284. Deaths for ages 60 to 69 were 689. Deaths for Fes 70 to 79 were 1,253. Deaths for age 80+ were 2,610. Nearly all these deaths had comorbidities. The would COVID mask wearing bullshit is getting old.. Devine is a no nothing deep state place holder.. This is all part of the program to blame COVID on Trump.
