We applied on-line in early February for an absentee ballot based on our last address in Savannah. My wife got an e-mail linking her to a site where she was supposed to be able to download and print a ballot, but no link was found in the e-mail. So I called up the Chatham County Voter Registration office, and spoke with a most gracious lady of the South, who was very helpful and re-sent the e-mail to my wife, this time with the link, and a new postcard application which I filled out, scanned in and sent back, and a few days later I got my ballot.
Both envelopes properly sealed and enclosed with our elector's statement signed and placed in a second envelope enclosing the first envelope with our ballot, we had to wait until we had business in Efrat, which has an all-services post office. So while we were there for a medical appointment, since the new lock-down prevents us from traveling without justification, we stopped off at the post office, and mailed our ballots via Express Mail.
Pretty boring story, except that once more, despite the obstacles of another Corona shutdown, from thousands of miles away, we have done our part to Make America Great Again!
Now, if only the crooked Democrat Chatham County machine doesn't somehow make our ballots disappear or change, we can be satisfied. And in case they do, this post will serve to encourage other overseas deplorables to do as we have.
Damn the torpedoes.

great. Joe doesn’t have the type of enthusiasm that would make someone go through all that just to cast a ballot for him. This is why they have to change all the rules in the 9th inning
Been living here since 2009. Tevye-sense tingled in the first months of Dumbo rule, and said “get thee from thy land, the place of thy birth and thy father’s house, unto the land which I will show you,” or something to that effect. It breaks my heart to finally see what my Tevye-sense tingled over coming true. The lunacy was just starting to percolate back in ‘09.
I just did it from Puerto Rico. I hope that your beach is as nice and warm as mine is!
No beach. We’re in the Judaean Hills, but a few hours drive either way and we’re at one.
