Give the man a break. It’s a supportive thing to say. Rand Paul, Cruz and Huckabee have also behaved decently towards the guy who beat them badly, and Carson is a prince of a man.

The story is Bush is not supporting the reelection and not voting for Trump like he didn’t in 2016 but Karl Rove got to him to keep it quiet bc it hurts the party. The spokesdude said made up but didn’t really go beyond W was retired and isn’t going to speak on the topic. So far has W supported the Trump re-election in any way? Nope.
Give Jeb a medal! He gave the Trump administration a half way supportive tweet. Has Jeb said he is supporting Trump over Biden yet? Of course not.
I do think Bush is the person who wasn’t going to publicly say anything anyway. Would Trump want Bush to campaign for him if he was willing. Not sure that would help in any way.
This was an issue where it would look like TDS not not praise it. Stephen Hayes was doing the same shtick on Special Report. They are trying to appear more objective for the next news cycle when they go back to helping Biden. Jeb should have come out against the Russia collusion hoax if he was being objective, not to mention supportive.
Forget W. I think Jeb could help in Florida because it is a close race and he was a popular governor there. But Jeb doesn’t seem to want to help very much.

in the general it’s supposed to be all hands on deck. But apparently for the Bushes that only goes one way. People will remember this if Jeb runs again or his son does.
Also the Bush spokesperson said in his June denial that Bush was retired and wasn’t going to wade into politics. Didn’t he just come out for Liberal Susan Collins the other day? So that was a lie!
