The long-awaited reform of the H-1B outsourcing program that was promised by Donald Trump in 2016 has been sent to the White House for approval, according to a chorus of concerned corporate immigration lawyers.
The news was praised by advocates for U.S. professionals but slammed by the immigration lawyers who guide foreign workers into hundreds of thousands of jobs that would otherwise go to young and old American graduates.

Excellent! Get it enacted then publicize the hell out of it. Companies wont like it but Americans will.
>>No parent is going to pay that kind of money and send their kid half way around the world so they can learn how to be pissed off.<<
By the time the parents know it is too late. Or worse, the parents agree.
When will "we the people" get some stones and wake up and get tough???
You need to start with the universities that import foreigners into graduate schools to displae natural-born citizens. They do the basic research work very, very cheaply so their tenured professors can bank more of the grant money that would otherwise need to go to support U. S.=born native scholars/ Then these foreign-born graduates get the corporate laboratory jobs and professorships, cheapening them also. Then they start bringing in their relatives.
Having a grad student (foreign or domestic) is not cheap. Professors need to pay tuition, research assistantship plus overhead, that could amount to upwards of 50-60 k per year depending on the school and discipline. Most domestic students do not go into grad school because there are no faculty positions. The only reason you want to do a PhD is to become a professor.
It’s a start. President Trump needs to commit to the following. This year its the Deplorable against the Despicable.
The Deplorable want a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.
The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens victim restitution fund.
Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.
We need to pass these protections in order not to make out Democrats as liars who promised the protection in exchange for a ONE TIME AMNESTY. The Democrats got the amnesty already. Now its past time for the protections we were promised.

Word gets around. If American universities keep this crap up, they will no longer be among the best. If they are not the best, foreign students will go elsewhere.
This stuff is starting in primary and secondary school, and that is the place where we begin to stamp it out. The alarm bells have been going off for a long time now. Parents need to be involved in the curriculum and root this crap out.

The louder they howl the happier I am.

Amen! “Chorus” is the right word - their complaints are music to my ears.
Maybe some undergraduates do, but that’s not what I’m talking about. the graduate students are paid for their grunt work on the grants the professor(s) get, and maybe also for teaching labs or as recitation teachers for undergraduate courses. They essentially “earn” their way through graduate scgool.
But the CCP's elite is willing and able to pay any price.
