Former Full House TV star Lori Loughlin was sentenced to two months in jail Friday for admittedly conspiring to pay a half-million-dollar bribe to get her two daughters into the University of Southern California as fake rowing recruits.
A federal judge in Boston OKd the plea deal for Loughlin, 55, who was implicated with designer husband Mossimo Giannulli in the nationwide college admissions scandal.
Giannulli had been sentenced earlier Friday before the same judge and will serve five months behind bars.
The couple were accused of paying $500,000 to scheme mastermind Rick Singer to falsely portray their daughters, social media influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli, 20, and Isabella Rose Giannulli, 21, as talented rowing crew athletes even though neither of them ever participated in the sport.
As part of the pairs sentences, Loughlin an actress best known for portraying the wholesome Aunt Becky on the sitcom Full House in the late 1980s to the mid-1990s will pay a $150,000 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
The Italian-born Giannulli founder of the multimillion-dollar clothing brand Mossimo will pay a $250,000 fine and serve 250 hours of community service.
Their sentencings bring to a close the celebrity couples galling, made-for-TV legal drama, for which theyd faced a decade or more in jail had they lost at trial.

from the other article...
In the prosecutors sentencing memorandum filed earlier this week, they said Giannulli deserved a tougher sentence because he was the more active participant in the scheme, while Loughlin took a less active role, but was nonetheless fully complicit.
She should have just rioted and burned a building or maybe punched a White man in the head and kill him.
Any word in what prison gang Lori Loughlin will join?
Whats the over and under for the number of prison tats she will get?
Stupid................
Hollywood elites always get light sentences.
Maybe she can hire someone to serve the time for her...
The amount of venom against this couple and the others in this silly scandal is amazing. Leftists acted like they were worse than rapists and murderers.
I don’t believe she should go to jail at all. What she did is not a crime against another. Penalty should be in the form of money and perhaps community service. They (Comey himself) pulled the same sh** on Martha Stewart.
But how can they put Aunt Becky in prison for a college admissions scam while letting violent felons stay at home?
Pffffft!
What about the soliciting recipients of these college admission bribes? Crickets.
Maybe they should look into Michelle while they’re at it. Problem is there are two of them...very clever
Should just paid for the addition to the girls shower room and all would have been fine.
Where is the COACH and other recipients of her ‘generosity’?
Shouldn’t they at least be charged?
There were at least two scam artists who pitched these “scholarships” to these celebrities along with willing coaches from USC & Harvard. Why aren’t their names in the news and receiving the same treatment?
BTW where is the money? Did the university still get the money or do the Feds keep it and buy new stuff?
Those guys were sentenced last year. Loughlin was the only one fighting the case.
What they did was wrong, it caused someone who was more qualified to miss their chance of admission.
That said it is exactly as bad when schools discriminate against Whites and Asians in admissions....where is their 2 month sentence????
#FakeLaw
Like a Federal prosecutor has ANY credibility in this current day.
It's all Fed "gun thugs", now - until someone gets up enough to challenge their gun thugs in a credible way.
And it's coming.
Personally, I’m damn glad Loughlin only got 2 months.
This whole thing has been such a damn farce... and such a colossal waste of taxpayer’s money.
