Rep. Adam Kinzinger on Sunday emphasized the importance of President Donald Trump and other leaders calling out QAnon — a set of far-right conspiracy theories that allege the existence of a “deep state” against Trump.
The Illinois Republican, who posted a video on YouTube explaining QAnon on Sunday morning, said it’s time for other lawmakers to definitively and emphatically denounce the theories.
While QAnon theories have circulated in recent years, they have received more attention since Marjorie Taylor Greene’s primary runoff win in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District on Tuesday.
Greene has vocally supported QAnon theories, and Trump endorsed her candidacy. The president went so far as to call her a “future Republican star” after her primary win. She is heavily favored to win in November.
Speaking on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” Kinzinger said he supported Greene’s primary challenger, neurosurgeon John Cowan, in the runoff.
“I think up to maybe about a week ago there wasn’t a reason to denounce it because it didn’t need the attention, but now that it's made mainstream — we have a candidate that embraces it that won a primary,” he said.
In a briefing last week, Trump sidestepped a question about Greene’s support for QAnon. Kinzinger said it’s time for the president and leading lawmakers to disavow it.
“The president hasn’t fully denounced it or denounced it at all,” he said. “Now it's time for leaders to come out and denounce it.”

Neither do I associate with Qanon, nor have I ever endorsed it (him/her/them), but to say that there is no “deep state” is ridiculous.
Washington DC is not run by elected politicians. They come and they go. Not just operationally, but on almost every effective level except the semi-symbolic representatives who are sent there, that place is run by career bureaucrats. This spans the gamut from almost all of the three letter agencies dealing with regulation, policy enforcement, and law enforcement to the public sector service personnel and even teachers, most of whom get their paychecks from some local public jurisdiction or board of education. Many of them, en masse, have relatively activist viewpoints, and are willing to exploit their positions to promote them.
This is not a conspiracy theory.
I don’t follow QAnon, but I have been suspicious of government behavior for a long time. I think it is beyond obvious that big business and foreign governments have corrupted Washington politicians and bureaucrats on BOTH sides of the the aisle . . . call it “Deep State” if you like . . . but it is obvious our representatives are definitely not acting in the interest of “we the people”. They are selling us out for their own interest. They have become masters of hiding payoff money for selling us out.
In my opinion, theories of conspiracy have progressed WAY BEYOND theories. We are now just watching the “man behind the curtain” do his dirty work. Every one that takes advantage of hard-working citizens by selling the power of their position, regardless of party affiliation, deserves to hang by the neck until the buzzards pick them clean. Q-Anon is just a symptom of a huge problem that resides on the government side . . . the proverbial tip of an extraordinarily large iceberg.

Why now? The elite must be planning an assassination or a mass murder before the election by one of their agents, who will be papered to be connected to the Qanaon movement. This must be their plan for a final push to discredit President Trump. They probably plan to kill thousands. Demons.

GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger and a longtime aide to Speaker Paul D. Ryan each were given an early look at the final report added to the infamous “Steele dossier,” court documents in a lawsuit against BuzzFeed News show.
Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence agent who compiled the unsubstantiated research booklet in 2016 about Donald Trump’s connections to Russia before he became president, gave the report to Kinzinger and Jonathan Burks, Ryan’s longtime chief of staff, after he completed it on Dec. 13, 2016, according to the court memo.
In addition to Kinzinger and Burks, Steele also handed off the 17th and final report of his dossier, Report 166, to a longtime associate of Sen. John McCain and the top Russia expert on President Barack Obama’s National Security Council.
