I was spending some quality time by wasting time the other day watching classic WWF wrestling matches from the 80's on Youtube (Yes, I know it's fake.) While watching a few matches between Sgt. Slaughter and the Iron Sheik I couldn't help but notice the amazing displays of American patriotism among the fans. American flags everywhere and chants of "USA, USA, USA!!!" This is one such match: Sgt. Slaughter vs. Iron Sheik. These fans weren't ashamed to show their love of their country.
Fast forward to today and it seems that showing your love for America and your pride in being an American can be dangerous to your physical health. Wear a hat or T-shirt emblazoned with the American flag and at the very least you're likely to get spit upon if not beaten, stabbed or shot.
These days, it's trendy, chic, fashionable, stylish and popular not only to hate America but to be seen to hate America.
Anyone else had enough of this shit?

I don't watch wrestling so I can't speak first hand, but do you know whether they aren't waving U.S. flags and chanting "USA! USA!" at WWF matches anymore?
Have for years. Noticed it more when I lived abroad. Woke me up.
And you know, there are PLENTY of places on this globe which would meet their specifications. Why don't they just GO THERE. No one is keeping them here. You don't like America? Fine. No problem. Why beat yourself up with the imperfections of America? Just GO THERE. You are happy. I am happy. It is all good.

I’ve sworn off pro and college sports that are dominated by folks who hate the US and those who coddle them.
I’ve sworn off NASCAR and other “woke” entities too.
Demographic shift has imported millions who could give a s**t about America and it’s culture. Their loyalty is foreign and tribal.
“Tired” doesn’t begin to describe it.
I don’t know why they don’t just leave if they hate it here so much. They have another, hidden agenda. We know what it is. It’s the wish for raw power. Commie pigs.
Conservatives need to become teachers & professors. Retake edu. That’s how the left got a hold of the culture. It’s a long game, decades.
That IDEA of America shouldn’t be despise and trashed, but what America has become most certainly should be, with our self-flagellating white guilt, cancel culture, and political correctness come home to roost.

Agreed. This is NOT the America I grew up in...this is something else and I despise it and not the former. Country has to make up it’s mind which it is. Next election will tell the tale.
Color me p....d off about what’s been going on. People who denigrate the America (The World) that we know and love have obviously never been in another country to appreciate what America stand for in comparison.
And what about the election after that? And after that? Do you think Republicans will have permanent control of this nation? Democrats will not get any better, but exponentially WORSE when they do regain power.
A big part of the reason people around the world hate America is CNN and its international TV channel, which in many countries is the only American channel they see.
CNN is brainwashing the rest of the world to hate America.
