Traffic to President Trump's presidential campaign website is more than 4x greater than traffic to Joe Biden's presidential campaign website, thanks in large part to traffic referrals from right-wing outlets like The Gateway Pundit and Citizen Free Press, according to data from SimilarWeb.
Why it matters: The data speaks to the enormous role the far-right web plays in promoting the president's ideas and his re-election campaign.
Web traffic to campaign websites is important because it can help campaigns fundraise, sell merchandise, and rally enthusiasm amongst voters. Details: Nearly 60% of traffic to Trump's website from May to July of this year came from The Gateway Pundit, a far-right news and opinion website that has a reputation for spreading falsehoods and conspiracies, and Citizen Free Press, a fringe-right website that links out to stories using hyper-partisan headlines.
Meanwhile, the majority of traffic to Joe Biden's website (over 65%) in May and June came from the Democrats' online fundraising platform ActBlue.

“Far Right” meaning what, exactly?
“Far right outlets”? Oh, they number in the millions and no one dares try to censor them. Oh..................................
Trump trounces Biden in campaign site traffic, thanks to far-right outlets
s/b
Trump trounces Biden in campaign site traffic, thanks to much great level of voter interest and support
As opposed to Axios; a fringe-left website that links out to stories using hyper-partisan headlines
So says the far left Axois.
Yep, theres never a far left, only a far right.
thedonald.win is rapidly replacing the banned subreddit r/TheDonald as the pre-eminent source of all things President Trump. Daily Kos and DU are no longer pertinent to the left. Free Republic is also lagging from its heyday, in my opinion. Too many doomers and Eeyores.
Axios perpetuating the leftist myth that the right dominates the media. It also insinuates that promoting Trumps ideals is not only dastardly but also probably illegal.
“thanks to far-right outlets”
They mean, thanks to insufficiently zealous censorship. If everyone were only told the correct things to think, then they’d all think the right things. Except for a few stubborn reprobates destined for the Gulag.
Fascinating data!
Beyond Gateway pundit and CFP, the next two largest referrers are #3) a Spanish language sports site and #4) a Nigerian site. And together they are 16%. The larger world is just as obsessed with American politics as we are, and as a frequent traveler to Africa I can say that many folks there are confused by the Dems letting people riot, paying people for not working, etc. They find PDJT to be among the most interesting people in the world even if they do not always agree with him.
Also, on the Dem side, it is impressive how few people link to Biden via the main stream media. Almost tautologically, I take this to mean that as they are reading up on current events they have little interest in (or enthusiasm re:) Biden’s content. They would rather view the world entirely through the prism of the WaPo, NYTimes or New Yorker than be bothered with the candidate himself.
That vast far right web...
When virtually all of the schools, cable, Netflixz Hulu etc spout left wing crap 24/7
Anti-American leftists, however, seek to destroy America, hold no allegiance to its founding principles, and want to turn it into a Marxist hell hole. They are in every way anti-Americans.
Seems pretty clear to me. Also, while the anti-Americans will of course wail and cry at being called anti-American, maybe we can just take a page from the diversity playbook and lecture them on their anti-American fragility when they respond in that way.
Time to put the anti-Americans on the defensive. Force them to explain why theyre not anti-American (just like the tactics of diversity training again).
Is there such a thing as a near-right site?
LOL!!
That has all the hallmarks of Donald Jr.
He has that kind of wit.
Axios keeps repeating that meme, “far-right”.
I do not think that term means what they think it means.
Believes that those who break the law should be arrested, face trial, and be punished if convicted
Believes wanton rioting, anarchy, arson, and looting should be quickly quelled with overwhelming force and said force maintained
Believes in the right to self-defense, particularly the private ownership of firearms
Believes in a strong military for national defense
Believes in the right to private ownership of property
Believes in the right to pursue private profit and wealth via private enterprise and the right to profit from innovation and industry
That’s great that Trump’s campaign has 4X as many visitors as Basementman’s campaign. But, Basementman’s propaganda is spread far and wide by ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, WaPo, NYT, etc., etc.. All that dwarfs the traffic on Trump’s website probably by a multiple of 10. The only good news is that only those already inclined to vote for Basementman believes the crappola that these outlets are spewing.
“””Traffic to President Trump’s presidential campaign website is more than 4x greater than traffic”””
What is the link to the site?? I want to do what I can to make it 5X greater.
