Honestly, we cant stop watching this video of two teens discovering how kick-a*s Phil Collins really is.
There is so much awful out there right now, so much stupid, we thought wed give you all a break and share this.

Nice you referenced one of my favorite Genesis songs right there, "Stagnation", from Tresspass, the album before Phil came on board.
There are bunch of [insert unlikely demographic here] reacts to [insert classic rock song here] all over youtube.
Ive discovered them about a year ago. The following was pretty good.

This is a hoot, from the show “You’re the Worst”

“Remember when Phil Collins drowned that guy?”
Right. Good point.
I have to confess to spending too much time watching their videos. When I saw the headline, I assumed it was about them.
Funny - I’m with her, I like both.
Well I was pretty much with the Collins era until Invisible Touch. I love Duke, for example.
But then I am one of the few also that actually considers “Drama” to be one of Yes’ best albums.
Should be the Biden theme song as he descends to the basement.
Sorry, i do not speak jive
Wanted to see their reaction to the drum solo that comes out of nowhere. It didn’t disappoint.
A criticism of a lot of current novels is that the writer sits down to write his novel with the full intent and objective of turning the book into a movie, undermining the literary weight of the book (even though it might ultimately make for a great film).
Likewise, I think Gabriel wrote a lot of music with the live performance in mind, and while it made for great shows, IMHO, it undercut the quality of the albums. I think Gabriel found the right balance in his solo career, but I agree that once he left Genesis, the band was able to move in a more unified direction.
These reactions to old songs by young people are all over YouTube. Here’s a lady listening to the Righteous Brothers:

As a drummer myself I can attest to that.
I don’t think Peter could have topped The Lamb, with Genesis, I think the timing was just right.
LOL! My husband watches a lot of the adult ‘reactors’, but this is the first time we’ve seen teens.
Haha, I have to confess to the same thing...I check daily to see what videos they have posted.
Speaking of a mean bass I was just listening to Whipping Post Live at the Fillmore East as part of my driving songs.
I’m not really a bass player but gosh I love that bass track its like he breathes it.
Then there’s Mountain Jam . . .
Tell those two kids that these songs were played live and with no AutoTune and see if they can even comprehend it.
Those were the days when bands proved themselves on the road. If they didn’t die doing it first . . .
I heard the other day, that the last original surviving member of Molly Hatchet, Steve Holland, passed away. Damn, that was one good band, loved Danny Joe Brown (RIP!)
Loaded into my Datsun 510 underdash Audiovox cassette player, I had a muscle car.
Just for fun, I Googled and found the exact model.
Good times.
