Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan couldnt be bothered to try to protect her citys citizens when they were seeing their property destroyed by rioters for two weeks in early June. She didnt have a care in the world for business owners who had their stores looted and vandalized. She stood by and made fun of residents and workers in the 6 square block area of her city that was taken over by Antifa and BLM thugs and dubbed first the CHAZ and then the CHOP.
The Mayor praised the CHAZ/CHOP as a new summer of love, and continued to defend it even after her chief of police expressed her concern about not being able to help people in that zone of depravity who were being assaulted and beaten up. She even defended the heavily armed leftist criminals who ran the place after the first murder that happened there, only finally relenting and claiming she was going to let her police rid the zone of its human pestilence last weekend after a second murder had taken place.
But boy, let a member of her city council organize a protest action in front of her house and suddenly Mayor Jenny Durkan is an outraged woman of action.
From a piece by Sara Carter:
Seattles Mayor Jenny Durkan on Sunday issued a statement after a group gathered outside her home to protest her decision to dismantle their autonomous zone, saying the protestors have no regard for her safety.
Mayor Durkan and her family are in the state program to keep their address confidential because of the death threats mostly related to her work as Seattles U.S. Attorney under President Obama, a statement from the mayors office read. Instead of working to make true change, Councilmember Sawant continues to choose political stunts. Tonight she did so without regard for the safety of the Mayor and her family. The Mayor was not even home she was working at City Hall. Seattle can and should peacefully demonstrate but should not put families and children at risk.
Durkans office added, Seattle has a long tradition of peaceful protest and advocacy for progressive change, and Mayor Durkan strongly supports those rights. Mayor Durkan will continue to listen to leaders in Seattles Black community. She is working hard to translate the calls for change into real, tangible systemic changes to policing and all the other systems needed for strong and healthy communities. She has prioritized these as Mayor, with investments in housing, education, youth opportunity, and economic equity. She proposes investing an additional $100 million into the Black community. [End]
That was on Sunday. Today, she issued a letter to the city council requesting that it punish or expel councilwoman Sawant for essentially doxxing her:
Mayor Durkan is justified in being concerned for her family over this leftist idiots decision to organize a potentially violent group of domestic terrorists to protest at her home. She is also the worlds worst hypocrite for refusing to express any similar concerns for the people of her city as their property was destroyed and their lives placed in danger as Durkan sat by and did nothing.
Bottom line: Jenny Durkan is todays Worst Person in the World.
“Summer of Love” looking more like Altamont every day.
“Jenny Durkan is a Raging, Despicable Hypocrite”
And those are her good points...
Why is the Mayor afraid? Everyone knows these are (mostly) peaceful protests. The propaganda media tell us this constantly so it must be true.
You mean she doesn’t have the guts to stand in front of her house with a rifle and protect it like that attorney in St. Louis.
The left is unleashing a monster and are soon going to regret it.
“When danger reared it’s ugly head, she turned her tail and then she fled.”
Seems like this whole thing isn’t working out that well. Not everybody is cut out to be a Mayor, Jenny! Some time off? Sure why not? What difference would it make if you made tracks? Barbados is nice...
You have to add pandering to her attributes.
“Chickening out and buggering off...”
Her name should be Dirtbin.
Bottom line: She is an AHOLE.
He is packing it in and packing it up
And sneaking away and buggering up
And chickening out and pissing off home,
Yes, bravely he is throwing in the sponge...
Great movie.
Investment, my @$$.
Karmas a bitch, Jenny, and so are you.
She’s a liberal. Aren’t they all?
“...saying the protestors have no regard for her safety....”
That’s ironic...I don’t either.
This ain’t the Garden of Eden
There ain’t no angels above
And things ain’t what they used to be
And this ain’t the Summer of Love.
