There is a movement for Andrew Cuomo to replace Joe Biden as the Democrat nominee. Governor JB Pritzker desperately wants the Cuomo status. Cuomo has received praise because he has been mostly measured and extremely transparent. Conversely, Governor Pritzker's. . . press conferences have been low information, highlighted by political outbursts deflecting all blame to the federal government.
In the midst of crisis, few if any have stopped to question the validity of the things they are being told. Our media and political culture have strongly discouraged dissent. I was asking for legitimate data from Pritzkers administration to ensure good data-based decisions were being made, and I was ridiculed by Springfield insiders calling me an unserious idiot' who was sowing seeds of doubt.
The idea that we shouldnt question any of these moves is dangerous, irresponsible and downright scary. Maybe we are doing everything right maybe we are not but asking questions and making sure we are making good decisions based on real data is absolutely essential.
None of the Governors moves have had legislative input. As an elected member of the Illinois General Assembly, I have trouble getting answers to basic questions. Consequential decisions without so much of a heads-up.
On April 8th, the Governors 30 day-emergency powers come to an end. It is time for the Governor to bring the Legislature to the table. Our constituents deserve input on potentially opening parts of the state less affected by the virus. We want answers real answers on hospitalizations and other pertinent questions. We want a plan for how and when to open the economy and put Illinoisans back to work. If the data shows that we are not ready to reopen on a regional basis, fine-but it needs to actually show that.

Ummm, its quite simple. He has a three fold approach:
1. Blame Trump when things don't improve.
2. Unilaterally shut down the state and make Illinois citizens prisoners of their own homes.
3. Return to step 1.
Cuomo has received praise because he has been mostly measured and extremely transparent. Excuse me while I go puke
As I traverse Ill. in the next few days, I will continue to spend not one dome in the State beyond the Crook County toll on I-80.
As I traverse Ill. in the next few days, I will continue to spend not one dime in the State beyond the Crook County toll on I-80.
I hope he explodes.
Look at a map. Jump off I-80 as close as you can to Route 30. Cross over into Indiana, get back on I-80. No toll necessary.
That fat-@ssed jerk-off excuse for a governor spends all kinds of time complaining that the feds aren’t sending the state enough personal protective gear; but everybody forgets that last year he shut down and essentially forced out of the state a firm that could have been sterilizing tens of thousands of pieces of medical supplies (Sterigenics of Willowbrook), a company that broke no laws and was in full compliance with both EPA and state environmental regulations.
I’ve done that and found that I should just cough up the ~$1.
With an EZ-pass it’s pretty painless.
Still is an annoyance but I figure not buying fuel in the state [or anything else] largely offsets the contribution to bad public behavior on the part of Ill. gooberment.

The most recent "poll" I've seen was several weeks ago (around March 12th?) and it actually showed Lard Butt was LESS popular than Trump in Illinois. Trump has a HIGHER approval rating with Illinois voters than Lard Butt.
That's really pathetic for Lard Butt when you remember Hilderbeast won Illinois in a landslide. It's amusing he thinks constantly bashing Trump will get his numbers up when you take into account that fact.
Of course, all of this was pre-Coronavirus shutdown.
I've seen zero data since then. The media is AVOIDING discussing how much people "support" Lard Boy like the plague, DURING a plague.
Very interesting!
“Corona Virus Get In My Belly!”
Only yesterday I noticed the striking resemblance between Pritzker and BOSS HOGG from the Dukes of Hazard. Just sayin’.
Pritzker has no plan, as far as I can tell. He also extended stay-at-home until April 30th, and my husband has to go back to work tomorrow. Thankfully, people aren’t really venturing out to buy auto parts.
Really, he is unpopular. How he was even elected, I have no idea. He’s totally incompetent and opaque, so things are going to get ugly before they start to improve. I’m honestly waiting for riots.
Pritzker’s plan for everything is to raise the taxes.
He looks like a less intelligent relative of Fred Flintstone or the statue outside of the “Big Boy” hamburger restaurants.
Elected by Chicago, because he wasn’t Rauner, and there was a (D) after his name.
