It seems that President Trump’s leading expert on the coronavirus task force knew something we don’t know because he warned three years ago that a surprise disease outbreak would happen during Trump’s reign.
On January 11, 2017 “Anthony S. Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said there is ‘no doubt’ Donald J. Trump will be confronted with a surprise infectious disease outbreak during his presidency.”

During a forum on pandemic preparedness at Georgetown University, Fauci said the Trump administration will not only be challenged by ongoing global health threats such as influenza and HIV, but also a surprise disease outbreak.
“The history of the last 32 years that I have been the director of the NIAID will tell the next administration that there is no doubt they will be faced with the challenges their predecessors were faced with,” he said.

Fauci is the definition of an entrenched bureaucrat, one who according to this statement, had reason to believe “Trump” (read America) would face a pandemic yet did little to prepare. Criminal malfeasance should apply, but it wont.

Thanks for posting this. I had put this info in the body of one thread a few days ago, but posting is much better. Yes if this knucklehead “knew” there was definitely going to be a surprise outbreak, he should have used that clout of his to start stockpiling. He should be held accountable.

NIAID is not part of national/international surveillance and is not part of emergency preparedness. It’s just not.
Look at the mess at CDC. That’s going to take you quite a while. By the time you move on to NIAID, this thing will be over.

A few weeks ago I read that Chanel Rion, an actual INVESTIGATIVE journalist, was doing, or had done, an expose on the genesis of this virus. Something was mentioned that it actually began in a lab in NC, and Fauci was involved. True? IDK.
