Yesterday at our Walmart they had a shelf of TP. Four rolls in a package. Each roll was mini — about the size of a half of a regular roll. Each package was 68¢. So, two rolls for 68¢.

On the plus side, the sandpaper-like texture of newsprint will abrade the top layer of your face right off, leaving behind a layer of epidermis as soft as a baby’s bottom. As a bonus, the ink from the newsprint will give your face a nice even tan of sorts. A bit like Al Jolson in blackface.

Paper towels are in good supply down on the MS Gulf coast - found a boat-load of TP in a local Rouses yesterday - they got in a bunch of odd brand in....now that they have done it, Walmart is starting to modify their ordering to keep folks from leaving for other stores...

I got a six-pack of toilet paper at Fry’s!
Actually, they open up for seniors from 6-7 am, then open to the general public at 7. I got in at 7 and there was toilet paper, but likely wouldn’t have lasted til 10.

“grocery stores now selling industrial size toilet paper rolls”
I had read that with people staying home there was an over supply of industrial toilet paper. Makes sense to use it for the private market.

I was at Costco and Safeway yesterday - lots of TP and other paper goods at Costco. Safeway had lots of paper towels but no TP. For the most part, the panic buying seems to be easing.

My wife and I normally buy the twenty roll economy size cases, and had just bought a case three or four days before this kicked off.
We still have eleven rolls left.
