How did you do with the Pathogen Lottery though?

I’m going to have to go to the store soon.

Yesterday at our Walmart they had a shelf of TP. Four rolls in a package. Each roll was mini — about the size of a half of a regular roll. Each package was 68¢. So, two rolls for 68¢.

Paper towels are in good supply down on the MS Gulf coast - found a boat-load of TP in a local Rouses yesterday - they got in a bunch of odd brand in....now that they have done it, Walmart is starting to modify their ordering to keep folks from leaving for other stores...

I got a six-pack of toilet paper at Fry’s!

Actually, they open up for seniors from 6-7 am, then open to the general public at 7. I got in at 7 and there was toilet paper, but likely wouldn’t have lasted til 10.

I was at Costco and Safeway yesterday - lots of TP and other paper goods at Costco. Safeway had lots of paper towels but no TP. For the most part, the panic buying seems to be easing.

My wife and I normally buy the twenty roll economy size cases, and had just bought a case three or four days before this kicked off.

We still have eleven rolls left.

We have plenty of paper towels, we always buy in bulk.

And we have a modest amount of TP.

A friend picked up a 24 roll pack of Scott for us and that was nice.

Having enough paper products is the least of my supply problems.

I’ve been hitting the dollar stores and scoring copies of Clintoon’s books for a buck a pop. They work just as well as the rolls of paper towels.

At some point, even hoarders realize enough is enough.

My wife and I both drink alkaline water, Costco started carrying a Kirkland brand just over month ago. It’s about half the price of discount grocery stores. We keep a 1+ month supply on hand. It comes in 18 one liter bottles to a case. My wife drinks a lot of unsweetened tea plus about one bottled of alkaline water. I go through 4-5 bottles of allaline water per day; just over a gallon.

Very refreshing and no negatives of sodas.

There was some place in the UK that was selling hand sanitizer for something like $2.99 for the first bottle and $95.00 for the second bottle in order to stop people hoarding. Makes sense...

I scored 4 rolls of TP at the citrus grove yesterday. Who’d have thunk it?

Went to the local Family Dollar this morning to buy stuff for the grand kids. They had plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. However the Spam was all gone. Bummer.
