In a series of interviews Tuesday, Joe Biden attempted to remind America he's still running for president, but ended up providing President Trump a treasure trove of campaign fodder.
The ostensible Democratic front-runner appeared in lengthy interviews on CNN, MSNBC, and ABC's "The View," to describe how much more competent his handling of the Coronavirus crisis would be were he in the White House, but appeared confused and sick — coughing incessantly — throughout the appearances.
CNN's Jake Tapper even had to remind the former vice president that current protocol is to cough into his elbow, not his his, as he had been doing.
Biden, who has struggled to insert himself into the national conversation since the Coronavirus crisis suspended traditional political campaigning, spoke from his basement in Wilmington, Del., and was additionally impaired by an audio delay.
On The View, Biden scored an own-goal after trying to take down Trump, saying: "We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse no matter what — no matter what."
On MSNBC, Biden attacked Trump for being both too hard and too soft on China; watching him, Biden said, "is like a yo-yo." Immediately upon saying it, Biden blushed, appearing to think he may have said something racially insensitive. "I shouldn't have said that," he said to himself.

The rats will loose big time if this guy run in the fall. The rats need to find somebody else. (But, who?) Biden has done lots of damage to the rat’s cause.

You might be right and I feel crazy typing that! Can you imagine? If they pull the plug on plugs (hat tip to El Rushbo) they should just do away with the democrat primary process as the last two have been pretty chaotic with the party powers essentially picking the nominee.

I laugh at Biden like everyone else, but in all honesty it’s sad and pathetic that he’s allowed to be a serious candidate for POTUS...he’s clearly not right mentally...age eventually catches up with everyone and it’s caught up to Biden.....
When the Democratic Convention takes place it will be interesting to see if any serious people in the Democratic Party exist and say, we can’t possibly nominate this guy, he will not only lose to Trump but will destroy all the down ballot candidates....
Has a politician ever gotten back into the race once they dropped out and conceded and then endorsed their choice? Could Buttgag or Fauxohontas get back in if they wanted to since BidObama is losing it?
Agreed. Shame on all the people who surround this man but haven't had an honest conversation with him.
They know he is not doing well, but they don't really care about him.
He will get the best medical treatment that Obama Care can give ...

I think that his handlers (and wife) are allowing him to make these appearances in order to establish a basis for pulling him as front-runner now, rather than at the convention.

John Durham and William Barr are preparing a cell for old Joe. He will be watched full time, maybe they will even have some functioning cameras just in case old sleepy Joe wants to punch out like a previous high profile prisoner.

Here’s the game plan. Go forward with the convention which by the way is all screwed up with primaries being cancelled. Ticket is Biden and someone. Can’t be Hillary as you will see. Then end of August the DNC removes Biden and possible his running mate. Then they insert Cuomo who has been test marketing himself this week and someone. Come Labor Day when the real campaigning starts the Democrats have their progressive on the top, battle tested by the Wuhan Virus and working with Trump for the people of NYC. Hillary and Cuomo can’t run from same state so Hillary is out. Watch it unfold
