The great fear for establishment Democrats right now is that hes *not* starting to collapse, merely beginning to fade. Dem leaders can tolerate Mike Bloomberg beating Bernie for the nomination; they can also tolerate Mike Bloomberg quickly imploding, clearing a path for Biden to win on Saturday and emerge as the great centrist hope against Sanders next week on Super Tuesday.
What they cant tolerate is a zombie Bloomberg candidacy, one where Bloomy pulls enough votes away from Biden to hold Joe down but not enough to threaten Sanders himself. More than anything else, they need to resolve the so-called muddle in the middle immediately. And since Bloombergs debate performance last night was neither great nor terrible, its unlikely theyll get that.

yes-it is probably all over but the shouting.Since 1952, (other than 1968 when LJB withdrew after Iowa and New Hampshire and his VP got nomination), I don’t see a nominee of either party who didnt come in at least 1st or 2nd in either Iowa or New Hampshire. So if this holds its probably Sanders.
e.g. Reagan came in 2nd to Bush in 1980 in Iowa but won New Hampshire . In Iowa, 1992 with an Iowa Dem Senator running, and sex scandals breaking Bill Clinton finished 3rd or 4th if you count uncommitted, but finished 2nd in New Hampshire. McCain came in a close 4th in Iowa in 2008 and won New Hampshire , these are the poorest finishers I have found and note they each came in either 1st or 2nd in one of the two.
Blomberg introduces something new and that is $1 billion but after his bad debate performance(s) it will cost him another $400 million. Biden might win SC and defy history because the country has higher % people of color in other states but I dont think so.
We probably want them to hang in there as long as they can so they use up their $s and attack each other and not Trump
You don't trust pollsters? I'm shocked! Shocked, I say!
“The Great White Rich Midget is on his way down.
Hundreds of millions wont save him.”
I wouldn’t bet on that. With $60B of money to spread around, he will be nominated to run against the Prez. He will be greasing a lot of palms. JMHO

None of the candidates can beat President Trump; in the meantime, we can snicker, and invest in the makers of stomach acid remedies. ;^)
> I keep thinking they will play the old “You are an independent, not a Democrat” card on him and pull all support. <
Bernie is certainly not a Democrat. But he signed a loyal pledge with the DNC last year. So the DNC lets him run as a Democrat. That was a really dumb move in the DNCs part, but its too late now.
Its gonna be 1924 Klanbake all over again
Except instead of white hoods, AntiFa has the black masks
AntiFa wants Bernie and they will Bern that place to the ground if they have to
It can turn violent and deadly
I wouldn’t want to go
Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!
Make them openly wear the socialism they have been cloaking all these years.
He pretty clearly said 150 million Americans have been killed by guns in the last 15 years, LOL.
It will take a little more this time.
So... the democrats choice is either :
A: An arrogant little fascist pr*ck with a whole lot of his own money who loves to control peoples’ lives;
or
B: An arrogant old communist pr*ck who got rich off a whole lot of taxpayer money and never worked a day in his life and loves to control peoples’ lives.
Nice going, democrats. You sure know how to pick ‘em.
If Bloomie isn’t successful in buying the nomination, he will have far outclassed Yeb! as the most expensive failed nomination attempt.
The DNC is just another wholly owned subsidiary of Bloomberg Inc. He bought it for $2bln.
It’s a private company and he can do what he wants with his employees. The rest of the clowns are just interviewing for jobs. Including Bernie.
His entire countenance seemed really weird. Medical intervention should be forthcoming.
If that happens, we're going to stand way, way back and need the equivalent of Caesars Palace's Bacchanal Buffet. The city of Milwaukee could literally become close to a war zone. 😱
A house on Martha’a Vineyard, perhaps?
Biden surge? Only one major gaffe should cause him to rocket up!
Well what Democrat can enunciate a clear thought or do simple arithmetic? Only 16% of the primary Bernie demographic (young morons) can answer 3 very simple finance questions correctly.
Well, it IS ‘Hot Air’!...........................
half baked
always hope - but never much change in the direction of the hope
