According to CNN, memes have become "weaponized" and now the "Meme Wars" represent an existential threat to our society. Ironically, their panicked reactions to the memes are even more hilarious than the memes themselves.

The very people who are obsessed with controlling the message and so-called narrative (AKA propgandizing) are the very ones who would be most concerned about other people influencing public opinion.
Of most concern is satire, because it effectively uses humor to demonstrate hypocrisy.

in other news: Reddit owner Spez is announcing that if you upvote posts that he finds displeasing, you will be banned.
Reddit is no longer a section 230 platform but is instead a publisher.
That is his specific method now for going after the subreddit The_Donald.
Funny thing, if it’s quarantined, who cares if anyone upvotes anything in there...but Spez doesn’t think about that.
The left can’t handle anything that goes against their carefully constructed fantasy land.
Disagreement is “hate”, words they feel personally hurt by are “violence”.
