Doesn’t anyone actually care enough about this obviously impaired man to stage an intervention?
Joe Biden told an audience on Friday that his son was once the Attorney General of the United States;
Before the same puny audience, he confused the 2010 mid-term elections with the 2016 presidential contest;
On Saturday, he claimed to have been arrested in South Africa while visiting Nelson Mandela at some point in the 1970s, an incident none of his traveling companions remember and that was not reported in the news media, mainly because it never happened;
Also on Saturday, he forgot which state he was in. Again;
On Monday, things really came to a head:

The senate? The other Biden??
This is a very serious question: Does Quid Pro Joe, former Senator and ex-VEEP, have literally nobody left in his life who cares enough about him as a human being to stage an intervention? Look, it’s been kind of entertaining to poke fun at Biden’s serial gaffes over the years – he’s always been the political version of a walking, talking circus clown.
But at this point, the man has become so obviously impaired that it has begun to verge on blatant cruelty for his family and staff to keep running him out there to embarrass himself day after day on the campaign trail. His past debate performances have been just as bad, with the candidate rambling on and on in a way that nobody really understands what he’s even trying to say most of the time. And tonight, we can expect another cringe-worthy performance.
It’s also been tons of fun to make fun of the paltry audiences that show up for his “rallies”, if one can accurately call them that. Here’s the “crowd” that showed up at his South Carolina event on Monday:

There’s, what, maybe 120 people in that photo, half of whom are either press or campaign staffers. Meanwhile, The Commie was drawing a crowd of 12,000 in the People’s Republic of Austin, the last remaining socialist sanctuary in my home state of Texas.
Yet, for all of his serial buffoonery, increasingly obvious impairment and lack of star-power, America’s Unfrozen Caveman Senator has shown an odd staying power in this race. Yes, his status as “front-runner” is now long gone, but the man did manage to finish in an admittedly-weak second place in Nevada on Saturday despite his horrifically poor showings in Iowa and New Hampshire. And he is somehow still managing to cling to his stubborn polling lead in South Carolina, a lead that has actually increased in the most recent polls.
If he is able to hold off The Commie and win in the Palmetto State, and pick off a big Super Tuesday state or two (he is polling close to The Commie in Texas and a few other states), he might well be able to start raising some actual money again and stay in the race all the way to the convention.
The question becomes, though, is that outcome, one in which his staff and wife continue to roll him out there to embarrass himself day after day after day, really in his best interest as a human being? Sadly for Quid Pro Joe, no one around him seems to care.

it could all be an act to prevent any investigation into a dottering senile old man.
They just need to pack his lunchbox and buy him his annual round trip train ticket so he can commute back and forth between Washington and home every day. Hire 2 handlers, one to put him on the train in the morning and the other to take pick him up take him for a walk and then put him back on the train.
I’m sure his fellow passengers will keep him busy as he relives his 40+ years worth of “accomplishments” in politics.
Based upon his current condition, I also think that they could cancel his SSS detail as I’m sure no one would likely cause him any harm.
I do. But his inner circle’s refusal to tell him it’s time to quit shows they only have power in mind. I’m praying that someone will tell Joe the truth, and he will retire.
No. In China they shoot corrupt politicians. In America we try to make them president.
Early Alzheimer’s, perhaps. There’s definitely something going on, beyond mere aging.
I wouldn’t go to Alzheimer’s... but clearly the brain isn’t working like it used to.... perhaps some mild dementia.

Either way, its kind of sad to watch....
I know he’s a loyal party guy, and this is the time for a loyal party man.... Dems can’t win, but need to keep the down ballot engaged... Joe just doing his part for the party, but they really should have found someone else.
He’s not going to quit, right now there is no reason to... SC and Super Tuesday are the tell. Not one state with a large AA voting block has voted yet, its stupid to quite before super Tuesday.... from a pragmatic standpoint.
He has some sort of recent memory issues. When he gets in a jam, he pulls something up from 20 or more years ago. In an interview a few days ago he didn't remember his answer about SC being his firewall state during a previous interview.

OK...I stand corrected, but that doesn’t leave Jill off the hook for elder abuse, in my not so humble opinion.
Even a PHD in “Post-Modern-Under-Water-Lesbian-Basket-Weaving” can see that the man is demented.
When Biden apologizes for slandering a man as a drunk driver whose truck ran into the car Biden’s wife and child were in, I will have sympathy for him.
Until then, he can rot and dangle.

He’s a greedy , corrupt human being...did he care about the millions he basically stole from the tax payers to give to himself and family members.
Do any of these politicians care.
Funny how we are trillions in debt but they have enriched themselves individually..some to the tune of 100 million dollars of more.

I feel for him... He’s an old party back bencher, who knows he can’t win, but will keep the base engaged to keep the down ballot from being slaughtered this fall... And like a dutiful party guy when they asked him to to it.. he did it... and he clearly should not have, he’s way past his expiration date.
Sadly the party itself doesn’t have control over its radical wing, and he’s going to wind up humiliated.... Biden definitely is the tragedy in this cycle. Instead of a last hurrah, that he knows he can’t win, to celebrate his lifetime of being loyal, he’s going to wind up eviscerated and humiliated.
