The reporters in China are too afraid to expose the real situation, except this one brave soul, Chen Qiushi (陈秋实). He is in trouble with the CPC and risking his life (with the disease or getting captured) to report on the situation in Wuhan. Please cheer him on and support him!

In the past, I’ve talked about topics like the legal system, equality, checks and balances. I’ve experienced so much since coming to Wuhan. It’s the 6th day since I’ve arrived. I’ve already had a lot of people tell me that sharing my Wuhan related videos will lead to account suspension. Because I admit, recently on WeChat there are many rumors going around. I’ve already got one of my accounts suspended and lost contact with a lot of people.

I think china is in big trouble. First their pigs died. Then this flu and now all the chickens are dying off.
Yes and no, all depends on the death rate. Thousands of people die of the flu every year, with an average 2% death rate (of the hundreds of thousands or the millions who may have gotten the flu). So if this is a normal flu, even with a faster transmission, the death rate shouldn’t go a lot higher.
That is, more people may get it, but most will recover. I have read that they are using a new anti-pneumonial for the worst cases and it’s had a lot of success.
I think this is serious, and it should serve as a warning to make nations coordinate their responses better (for example, China refused to accept help), but the end of the world is not at hand.
I've even tested a couple of them. But for the moment, let's assume that everything is absolutely correct about every speculation, that there's hundreds of thousands who presently have the disease, there's massive graves being bulldozed over right now, hiding the true scope.
How do you recover? That's a serious question. How do you walk out the other side still with a nation; I mean, seriously, you know it's going to get out. We're not talking the outer reaches of Mongolia here, we're talking the SimCity of Wuhan (seriously, look at sat images, it really does look like someone used SimCity as a guidebook rather than a game..)
So it's going to get out. There’ll be thousands of videos of the mass graves, one of the methods of getting that video out will eventually happen, and China will have the most embarrassing moment of listening to inferior countries condemn them for human rights violations (while their Muslims are throwing gay people off the top of buildings.)
Winnie the Pooh won't let that happen. The army's generals won't let that happen, as you'd better believe they could forecast what the sanctions would be like and how much that’d hurt their businesses.
So a coverup like that is unlikely. Sure, individuals might be censored - it is China after all. And of course, they'll fake some stuff - it's China, they do that. But these theories about wide scale infections and deaths - there's only a singular way that actually happens. It means all of the G20, all of the major corporations, all of them are working together to lie to everyone.
That's damn unlikely. Maybe about an asteroid or comet on a collision course with the world... Nahh, someone would leak it too.
They are taking drastic actions, just as the United States and many other countries, because there is a significant risk. And it is a relatively preventable risk with some pretty simple measures. Treatment is also pretty straight forward, though many will still die. Airway is one of those critical centers that when it is put at risk, people die.
But the conspiracy... I just don't buy that.

People who recently travelled to China and who have been there often have been interviewed on Hawaii talk radio. They all say the numbers are much greater that being reported publicly. The streets are empty, the stores and eating places are closed, people are hiding and scared and unable to get treatment, masks, even a diagnosis.
Since the information is coming from a former FDA official with education and experience, I’d say it’s more likely you are just an idiot.

This is true over transmission time-lines.
There’s a Brit doctor who has reviewed the data on the German guy (in Bavaria) who had a Chinese business executive arrive. This is a German-Chinese car parts business. So the next day (day one), they sit down to go over data.
By day three, the Chinese executive has wrapped up the talks, and is back on a plane, returning to China.
Mid-day, day 5 after contact, the German guy is showing symptoms (fever, scratchy throat, etc).
By day 6, the German guy has 102.5 temperature, and full-blown Coronavirus flu.
Day 7, the fever has gone back down (not completely). But he feels better, and the high-point has passed.
Day 8, the guy goes back to work. He feels as though the flu is finished up.
Now, I will point out that the guy is 31 years old, and by what the doctor has seen in data....in great health.
The 61-year-old co-worker (patient two in this company sick group)? He had a very rough flu, has serious respiratory issues, and still in the hospital.
