The impeachment coup shows how desperate the Dems are. Their “witch hunt” is destined for failure.
Yesterday the Democrats proposed an amendment on trial procedures and after hours of debating, it was brought to a vote and quickly slapped down.
President Trump won a Senate vote on the procedures to follow for the rest of the trial.
They know that this “witch hunt” will not change anything, so they use the spotlight to create media fuzz by using lies!
Today on the Senate floor, Democrat Rep and impeachment manager compared President Trump to terrorists who attacked America on 9/11 and Nazis in WWII.

I thought at first getting McConnell to immediately dismiss this farce was the best choice. Give it no credence, treat it with the contempt it deserves. After seeing this insane ranting, I have changed my mind. You can’t create, produce, buy better Pro-Trump and Pro-GOP campaign material then what’s these goofballs are producing live! So divorced from reality, not just anti-Trump but anti-normal American for all to see. Uncovered open blithering public hallucinations masquerading as serious political speech. I guess it will keep their base fired up, however I doubt. It will more likely discourage their base. Shows they are even out-of-touch with their base let alone with normal Americans. All which is fine with me!

The trial rules are that opening statements cannot be objected to. Senators must remain quiet.
