I don't agree with your assessment. Roberts is pretty much doing his job as legal arbitrator and almost sleeping through the dem/soc's repetitive non-evidential bloviating. No, I'm not happy with his "the fine is tax" ruling on obambicare. So far, I see nothing wrong with his few comments and neither does Tucker, Laura or Shannon Bream on Fox. Forget Hannity, same ole, same ole, every night.

Exactly what I've been telling the naysayers. While I agree that McConnell should have just dismissed this farce, it makes sense to go through the motions of a trial for public consumption. Once Trump's lawyer team gets their turn to tear apart Shifthead's and Neadler's generalities and so-called "witnesses", it will all fall apart and the Senate will vote NO.

This is political by definition and does not have the same legal guidelines. Roberts is mostly just an over-seer and really just a vegetable over-looking the process. The dem/socs and the defense team can battle it out how ever they see fit.
