He was out all last week, mostly announced, and now today he's out again. During one of the most politically-charged moments in history.
I can only assume he's ill? I hope not, and that's he's ok but this has been really strange.
I can listen to Mark Steyn. He makes great points in an interesting way. The rest of them? not so much. Walter Williams used to guest-host years ago. He was great, too.
The subs, with the exception of Steyn, are horrible.
Must be Trump working something top secret. Isn’t Rush part of his “brain trust”?
That’s not good. I’d say that rush has ten years left on the air at most. He’s 69 years old and will want to retire someday.

I am grateful that Mark Davis seems to have dropped off the substitute roster. Listening to him was like trying to eat a bowl of cornflakes with sand in it.
Last week he said it was the flu
He started out not terribly sick supposedly and it got worse
Then he returned
He is out A LOT anyhow
Hope he’s ok
And I’m sure not wild about Steyn. I think that he is silly in general though he does often have a good grasp of the issues.
Rush has made it clear many, many times he has zero interest in doing TV again.
I LOVED his short-lived TV show. It was the best television ever.
I didn’t know about his announcement yesterday, that’s good, at least he’s not sick.
Yea, I’d imagine it has something to do with Trump or RNC.
He needs to be careful. He constantly tells his audience that being behind the golden mic is his priority and love. He hates being away....and even berates other talkshow hosts who take extended holidays. Just say’n

I'd be fine if Rush/Mark they did a 2/3 day split every week.
He won’t stay forever, can’t, but he seems to still like what he does.
I wonder if the talk radio era has a shelf-life like so many other things do. Daytime soaps still endure.

Kidding aside, Steyn is definitely the only one I will listen to if there’s a replacement.
Spouse is hoping it’s about a new tv station for our side. I call him dreamer.

Oh I’m sure it does have a shelf life. I think podcasts will continue to gain domination on all media.
It is the Principles of Conservatism, that host the show! Rush is the best at bringing them to the fore and giving them the attention and respect they deserve. Any substitute, or any future replacement could do the same.
By the same token, any president who understood what Trump is doing could do the same!
