Just when you think gender insanity couldnt reach a higher fever pitch.
Transgender activists have successfully lobbied sanitary pad brand Always to remove the Venus symbol, which has for millennia been representative of the female sex, from the packaging of their products to be inclusive of transgender and nonbinary customers.
CNN reports:
"Transgender activists and allies had publicly urged Procter & Gamble to redesign its pad wrapper without the gender symbol, a circle atop a cross. Among their arguments were that not all people who menstruate are women and that not all women menstruate.
"The change is the latest in a series of actions companies and governments are taking to affirm the identities of transgender people as transgender equality activism surges. Companies including Lyft, Mastercard, and Tinder are making similar moves.
"'For over 35 years Always has championed girls and women, and we will continue to do so,' Procter & Gamble said Tuesday in a statement. 'Were also committed to diversity & inclusion and are on a continual journey to understand the needs of all of our consumers.'
"Getting periods can be a dysphoric experience for transgender and nonbinary people, especially because of the way that periods are generally discussed and addressed as something that only happens to people who are assigned women at birth.
"Procter & Gamble has not said when the design change will happen."
PING!
The pads (unused) were perfect for spit-shining the cap toes on our jump boots in OCS.
WHAT “non-binary” individuals exist to “menstruate”? Since they would be .... non binary it would physically be impossible for one to be “Getting periods can be a dysphoric experience”— and actually BE a dysphoric experience.
Except of course in diagnosis of a mental illness category— in which case the “condition” is not “non-binary” but originates from deep mental illness.
When the hell will someone just say; “Bug Off with you silly ass demand”?
And here I thought this was a bad English “RUSSIAN” posting
In a command tone “Always to please remove female symbol from packaging.......”....
Emerghencee— everybody to please get into streets....— From “The Russians are Coming, the Russians are Coming.
How does a man have a period. Even with a sex change
Exactly!
Some day someone is going to say, “No. That’s dumb and we’re not doing it”. And stand by their word.
I literally laughed out loud at this statement. Are we living in some kind of twilight zone??
[[How does a man have a period. Even with a sex change]]
Studio blood, silly
Just sick people playing make believe as adults. Girls playing make believe that they are boys or vice versa.
P&G almost certainly has a Diversity Exec that makes certain all manner of weirdness is accepted.
As totally binary female, I would wish vicious cramps upon them all.
:D
Wore them on our knee’s and elbows crawling under live fire machine gun fire on a range at some training rocky ground
in the 1980’s. (Two troops were sent over to the Main PX to buy 15 packs of “maxipads”. Cashiers would look sideways at them. One troop told the cashier: “We have many WAC’s in our
unit!”) The Goode Olde Daz!
I guess it's the same way with other feminine products.
They must be thinking of a biological woman who identifies as a man having her period. Thus it’s a “man” having a period, and thus the female symbol must go. It’s crazy.
When the hell will someone just say; Bug Off with you silly ass demand?
= = = = = = = =
Yes, and after another spectacle today, WHEN will someone stand up and say
I will invite you to my (fill in the blank) Funeral but PLEASE leave the politics HOME.
If you can’t refrain yourself WE will have you forcibly removed.
Thank You.
Sick-O-Rama.
Their arguments are inane! Only biological women CAN menstruate. Women who do not have periods are those who are either currently pregnant, have had hysterectomies or have gone through menopause. No biological male can or ever will menstruate. Do these people not understand simple human biology??? A man who thinks he's a woman - even if he has "reassignment" surgery - will never menstruate. A woman who thinks she's a man will continue to menstruate unless she has a hysterectomy, is pregnant or has gone through menopause.
