Drudge has become unreadable for conservatives

I know some here are sick of Drudge posts...but I feel it's worth bringing up for no other reason than the amazing slide into the liberal abyss that Drudge has experienced.

Drudge use to be the first news site I clicked on in the morning. About 2 months ago I removed the link from my phone. This morning I hesitantly checked back and he has gone full-blown yahoo news...if not even worse. Unflattering pics of Trump, red-lettered headlines describing an unhinged administration, polls with hostile results to Trump....are just some of the takeaway's.

So the question is why has Drudge turned inside out the formula that brought him to the top? No business does that and I think it's a fascinating, albeit sad, question.

He hid the sale.

Drudge got a big start from being one of the 1st to report about Monica Lewinski, back when the internet was just starting to roll. His website was anti-Clinton, and seemed anti-liberal because he crossed the Clinton vs. America line without liberals following him. Now he posts too many stories by some new and misleading news source, that wasn’t around a few years ago... I quit checking out Drudge a few years ago, because of he new news source.

My opinion: Trump is not of that kind of world and they know it. In a way, evil recognizes good and good recognizes evil.. (using the word, evil, for lack of a better one)

Don't be so thin skinned. Drudge Report is a fantastic aggregator of news. Sure, right now it is more left than right, maybe often so, but it is a quick stop to get a gist of the news. I also like Memorarandum.com as it also gives me quick coverage, though more pro-liberal and pro-socialist. The so-called conservative sites are useless and unappealing as I already find much of that on FR.

My basic go-to sites are FR, Drudge, The Hill, Breibart, and Fox News. I then circle back to FR. A few other regular sites, depending on the news of the day. What about you?

I have not read Drudge since the turn of the century.

I have always thought someone had dirt on him, or what he thought was dirt, and he became their tool. Simple as that (for me, at least)

I once was known as a fine and fancy cusser, able to string together epithets effortlessly on the fly. It was a humorous party trick for me...

Although I did have my nephew say to me he learned all he knew about cussing from watching me work on my cars back in the day...

I have tried to change that, since I do view profanity as evidence of a weak mind, so I have spent the last few decades pulling it back, and now, the only time I use real profanity is when joking with old friends or an occasional whack of the finger with a hammer.

But I enjoyed reading your post-really...it takes talent to string a sentence like that together!
