Liberalism is its own mental illness. We live a couple of miles from a mental health facility and we've ministered to many mentally ill people at our church. NONE of them has ever up shot up a crowd of people.
The left’s perpetual altering of our nation’s culture is paralleled by increased violence and degredation of major American cities (Detroit, SF crapping in streets, etc).
Add to this more recent unabated infiltration into our country of illegals, many of them criminals prior to entry, and what do we have? Chaos supported by the dem party.

I’m not saying that I don’t believe this, but....
How does anyone know this? How did they get access to his profile? If they did then shouldn’t there be some digital trail?
I’ve postulated that instead of gun restrictions or gun control, we should control who has and raises kids. Not that some of the parents didn’t do their best, and they can’t be blamed entirely, but I’d bet if one looked into the backgrounds of each of these mass shooters, we’d find family dysfunction. And the parents couldn’t have been oblivious to the growing mental illness of their child.

In many cases, "mental illness" is nothing more than a cop-out aimed at reducing/eliminating the concept of personal responsibility in one's life.
From what I've seen, it seems that this guy in El Paso was just a loser -- plain and simple. How he got to be a loser isn't clear to me. How a free society deals with losers is the real problem here.
The good news is that this isn't a new problem. Societies have dealt with this question since the dawn of human civilization. The bad news is that "fixing" it usually involves measures that nobody wants to admit are even being implemented at all -- like totalitarian governments with death squads, brutal punishment for crime, and what might euphemistically be called "ethnic cleansing" in some cases. Here in the U.S. we try to sanitize the process by paying Planned Parenthood to do it for us ... even as we look the other way while they make money on the side harvesting human organs in the process.
Because of liberals doom and gloom message our youth is traversing some dangerous ground.
Imagine being a young teenager and being guilt ridden with burning the planet down, then hearing that it is TOO LATE, WE ONLY HAVE 11 1/2 YEARS LEFT, GO TO HIGHER GROUND.
Imagine being white and growing up with a sense of guilt BECAUSE YOU WERE BORN WHITE AND THEREFORE BORN A RACIST.
Imagine having some issues and understanding that when born you could have been left to die and HEARING APPLAUSE FROM THAT ANNOUNCEMENT.
Two mass shootings in 20 hours at a crucial juncture in the presidential campaign....I may be cynical, but could these shootings be a coordinated effort to oust Trump and bring on gun confiscation? The anti Trump forces are despirate and insane enough to use these false flag events to accomplish Trumps defeat and push banning of guns. Orchestrated mass murder is not beyond this crowd
Personally, I think the rise of the 24 x 7 news and commentary on television/cable has contributed in a very big way to the divisions in society and the increase in violence. That, and the use of ‘divide and conquer’ politics - which is an absolute mainstay of the Democrats (and for which they use broadcast media as a soapbox).
Think about how many times you have watched something on the news or commentary, including idiots like Chris Matthews, Don Lemon, etc., and felt angry. Of course, most of us are fortunate enough and mature enough to be able to keep things in perspective and not go off the deep end. That said, even if it’s a very small percentage of our population, there are those who will be influenced by this to the point they will act on it.
