What’s funny is the first time I heard it, I thought “How Weird”, then realized the band is English, and was referring to a soccer ball....but over the years they became my favorite band.
I'm guessing the sixties had a lot to do with it.
Love me some Frank Zappa!
Musical bubble gum. Fun, certainly!
I do prefer the 60s over all other eras, but I will not call the 70s a complete wasteland, just a general one.
Am I the only person who has no idea what this thread is about.
I believe that the 70s were a complete wasteland of good music..
You must not have listened much in those years.
Hey now.
I only wear a man bun when Im relaxing at home. Never in public.
I have cats.
Two other good ones by T. Dolby were “Hyperactive” and “Airhead.”
I remember listening to “Flying North” when I flew back from college in CA to home in PA. Good times.
Bell bottom jeans and pants. Platform shoes for guys. French cuff shirts.
I’m guilty too.
The Art of Noise!

Anything English was cool until proven otherwise. I lived in a small town, and before the internet it sometimes took a couple of years for the big trends to show up. I remember going to Europe in ‘81 and bringing back a rubiks cube before it was really a thing here.

I loved the 80s. Graduated HS in 1980, went to college, saw great concerts for very little money....had tons of fun. I prefer 60s-70s music. Some great 80s tunes though.
Zappa’s cool but then there’s Captain Beefheart on a whole nother level, boy.
Don’t know who he is, but seeing him makes me feel like dancing. ;)
The 1970s
The mighty mighty Led Zeppelin
They totally trippy Grateful Dead
This super Duper trippy Pink Floyd
The great southern band Lynyrd Skynyrd
Pick up at the 1970s was the great a decade for hard rock and roll
the 60s was milquetoast in the 80s was a bunch of synthesizers
