he YouTube star daughter of actress Lori Loughlin admitted just last week that her parents forced her to go to college and that her father 'faked his way' through school by using tuition money to start his design business.
Olivia Jade Giannulli has been slammed ever since her parents were charged Tuesday for paying $500,000 to get her and her 20-year-old sister Isabella into the University of Southern California.
Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli allegedly paid to have their two daughters labeled as USC crew team recruits, even though neither of them are rowers.
Olivia has since come under fire for 'ignorant' comments she has made about college, including an interview just last week in which she admitted that she only went to college because her parents forced her.

This story is more about the corrupt and desperate parents than the kiddos.

Curious that Giannulli chose the crew team for his kids’ sport. I have a friend that used to live near the Giannulli household on Balboa Island and knew Mossimo when he was just getting started. My friend was on the crew team at the college he attended.
Everyone is focusing on the actresses and their kids. They are just rich people taking advantage of a corrupted system. Bribes are standard business practices in the 3rd world — which we are becoming.
Unless I am missing something are there not employees associated with the university that accepted these bribes who should be held accountable?
Some are being charged with mail fraud. Also the schools get a lot of federal money that comes with strings attached.
Many colleges do not require interviews, esp big ones.
USC is not that difficult to enter. The kid simply needed to stop trying to be a Kardashian and study in high school

Aren’t you the one who called her shallow? Or was I responding to the wrong persons post? If she thinks she doesn’t need college , I’m not at all sure that’s being shallow - maybe the exact opposite. Her YouTube channel is probably earning a pretty penny, and setting her up for an acting career, with more income potential than 80 percent of today’s college grads
