Nah, it’s just french soldiers/police/security surrendering again

I’m just kidding. Good for them if they are in solidarity.

Now storm the Bastille.

Or whatever the hell they need to storm these days over there.

What’s the average muzzie there thinking?

"...removed helmets to show solidarity..."

Pretty bold move for that informal battlefield truce.
Unsure if I would feel “solidarity” if my family vehicles were engulfed in flames.

You would have to pay me a lot of money to even consider living in France - even for a short period.

I have read elsewhere that some French firefighters are also showing solidarity with the protesters.

I would gauge the real start of the original French Revolution as when the soldiers turned their guns on their officers and joined in the insurrection. This, symbolically, is the same thing. It would be increasingly dangerous for Macron or any other official to order the police to do anything at all against the protesters.

During an earlier revolt in about 1905 a Russian soldier told the Tsar, “Either you order us to fire (on the mob) or you abdicate.” It looks as though Macron may face that decision. And, when it comes, it’s up in the air who the soldiers fire at.

When the soldiers on both sides lay down their guns, it’s a bad sign for political class. This could well happen in Kalifornia. Gov elect Newsom is a globalist commie on steroids. People need to quit fleeing that state and just take it back.

The French don’t want to pay for all of their free stuff.

When the police or military begins to side with street protesters, it gets very dicey for the government.
